It's yet another CNY~~~

ya lor... wat's new... every year there's a "CNY" and everytime its the same "CNY"...

ugly angbaos, silly variety shows, irritating "dong dong qiang" songs dominating the radio stations and shopping malls, and of cos "oni-see-them-once-a-yr" relatives storming into our house for visiting...

And wat am I doing this year?

As usual lor... But this yr am not gng any where... will 乖乖 stay at home and finish up my MBA application essays... But am finding it hard to concentrate though...

Sigh... Tmr going back to work liao... Going to be another tough week cos deadlines are piling and almost half the world is on leave... How am I going to complete my work this way?

Was chatting with my fren who was in Dubai now. She said that there wasn't any CNY mood there and work is as usual... hmmm... I prefer it that way though... No disruption to the working pace... Life goes on mah...

YAWN...

Anyway need to chiong my MBA application essays now... I really need to get admitted to this MBA course cos I really wanted it badly! I am not getting any younger... If I miss this time, I don't think I will want to do MBA liao...

Hmm... maybe I shld plan to get married next year, then have BB the year after? Hahahaha....

Just need water.... Boiled the water.... Then throw in the fish... Then throw in the vege... Then drained away the water... And can eat liao!!!~~~~

Healthy and oil-less!!!

And most of all, can eat within 5 mins!!! =)

It's a new new year again!

seemed like 2008 past faster than 2007!

I have been thru so many years of "new year" and when I start to look back, all seemed very blurry...

hmmmm.... bits and pieces....

One day, my colleagues were talking abt how they will try to "siam" doing housework or will share the housework w their sisters or family. Or quarrel w their siblings... etc...

I realise I have forgotten alot of things...

I totally cannot remember much things that happened before I shifted out on my own.

Eg, those days when my sis was still staying in the same small room with me... I cannot remember a single thing! Eg, How we get along when we were in the same room? Did we used to go to school together? We were fr the same Sec school, but I cannot rem did we go school together! And, what were our usual topics? did we quarrel? or did we fight? or did we squabble over who shld make the bed or sweep the floor? Or did we talk at all when we were in the room???? I totally cannot remember!

Also, I cannot rem those days when I was still in the old 4-room flat before I shifted out... I cannot even rem how that flat looked like. Cannot rem the room layout... Cannot rem where the TV was placed; cannot rem the colour of the walls, floor, or even curtains (got curtains meh? Cannot rem!)...

I also cannot rem those days when my parents were younger and more mobile than now. I always hear my colleagues talk abt their parents and how their parents play games with them, go travel with them, etc. But I totally have no recollections... I cannot rem! Did I go out with parents at all (I know I did, but cannot rem!), did I quarrel with them (I am SURE I did, but I cannot rem!), did we play any games together (I know we did, but can't rem)?

donno why I cannot remember such stuff. It wasn't very long ago anyway wor! It was barely less than 10 yrs ago! And I can't remember liao! Sigh....

I only rem days AFTER I shifted out on my own till now.... hmmmm.... Why my memory soooo weak?

Anyway, it might not be a bad thing lah... Now I miss my sister; I love my parents alot alot now; I enjoy staying at home, etc...

"Princessy" weekend at Sentosa Siloso Beach resort

It was decided that the theme for this year's xmas party was .......

WHITE PRINCESS!!

huh... headache ah.... wat make a princess???? and how to become one? or look like one????? Sigh....

do i look like a princess????? A bit far-fetched lah... but can do lah... mai hiam k! I had to purposely go buy a WHITE top leh!!! (my wardrobe is mostly black and dull-coloured clothes de lor...)

Anyways, here's all my colleagues! We are ALL WHITE PRINCESSES for the night only!!!
And wat abt "Princess food"????

Haha... of cos must be sweet sweet and cute cute lah!! We are PRINCESSES leh!! Donch play play!!!! ~~

Actually not only got cupcakes lah... we are also "localised PRINCESSES" lah... So we also like to eat local food!! Like.....

Satay, Hor fun, burgers and cottage fries!!! YUMMIE de lor!!!~~~

We had our dinner at the roof-top balcony. The night was really cool and very atmospheric! We got candles, nice food, wines and such...

After dinner, we nuah in the room and in a flash... all of us fell asleep!!! Think the dinner and wine too much liao!! Hahhah...

Anyway, we woke up around 130am and realised that we have not exchange prezzies yet!!

So we decided to do the traditional pressies exchange thingie!!!

And tadah!!! All presents were given and wrappers ripped apart!!!

Donno why we all so tired.... We fell asleep around 3am.... We didn't even finish our wines!!! Hahah!!!

Anyway, the next morning, we woke up early to catch the good sunlight for a tan on the roof top and jacuzzi....

We had fun doing the "10 shots-in-a-row" photo thingie!!!

Of cos I must have my usual zi-lian moments too!!! Hahahah!!!

Tried Diane's "fake hair" and i looked soooo strange!!! Hahaha!!!

We didn't finish the cupcakes ytd night (luckily!!) so I had it for breakfast today!!!

The sun is super strong de lor!!! Nearly blinded me!!! Lucky I got bring my killer-shades!!!

Anyways, we need to check out at noon... It was really a relaxing weekend...
