Sing Jazz Festival!

Jio-ed HY and Qianjie to Sing Jazz Fest since I have extra tickets. Both of them have not met each other for years! So it is good to catch-up! :)

And we went for late night supper at Bedok coffeeshop! Nice to catch up with my Sec friends!!! :)

Part 8: My birthday with Gine babe!

As always, my babe Gine never fails to love me and surprise me! She wanted to have a nice BD dinner with me and she went through the trouble to search for a nice Japanese restaurant where I can have my fav sake and also a nice cosy place!

I so love this place she chose!!! She has great taste, as always! :)

I was very lucky to have a nice parking lot at Amoy street! And see the number of coupons I put? Haha! This place better don't play play hor... The "summon guy"very onz de! Haha! :p

We went to this Japanese place called Shukuu Izakaya... Nice place!! I love the ambience already! :)

Only this dish was not nice... The pork rib... It was too hard and rubbery lor... The rest were fantastic! And the owner was very nice. He didn't charge us for this dish! Wow! Nice and generous! :)

Whee whee! Gine is showing off her sexy legs! Hahaha! =p

And I simply love the gift!!! Awwww... She's so sweet de lor!!! Love you deep deep (and you know it!)!! :)

She knew I was feeling down and upset these few weeks and she is trying her best to cheer me up. It is so nice to have friends who know that sometimes instead of trying to console or ask me what happen (which will usually make me feel worse), it is better to just plan some happy moments (usually nice food and sake!) and show nice gesture that will definitely and immediately make me feel better and happier! I am so blessed to have such nice and thoughtful fren like her!!!

Black hair!!! Back to basic....

Oh well... I wonder what struck me... Suddenly I wanted to change my hair color and somehow I wanted to try back my original black hair...

But.... I sort of regretted cos I am still not used to this look!!! Somehow I look... WEIRD...

Very tempted to dye the usual brown again!!! Let me tahan another few weeks first!!!

New Laptop!!!

Went to buy a new laptop with Lian and both of us got the same model! It was only $699! So cheap!!! Free upgrade to 8GB RAM. :) We purposely went all the way to SG EXPO for the Megatex show by Courts to get this good deal. Thanks Jas for helping us!!! :)

After buying the laptop at SG EXPO, as we have time, we decided to go airport to chill and chat...

And I realised I have 3 old laptops to dispose!!! 2 Acer and 1 Sony... I hope I can find someone who is willing to take in these 3 old models... My Acer is as old as 17 years!!! OMG! This was my very first laptop in 1999!

Part 7: My Birthday with my dear dear Lilian!

Awww... It has been sooooooo long since I last met my dear Lilian!!! I missed her soooo much!!! :)

We decided to meet for dinner and she had a good reco of a unique cafe in the east... I was surprised that she had changed job cos the last I texted her, she had just joined a new company... I didn't know she resigned only after 3 months into the job. And now she is helping her fren manage a child-care centre business... Wow... Sound good!!!

Anyway, was surprised that her office was at Pasir Ris! Wow! I was in my Tuas office so from Tuas to Pasir Ris would mean from West to the East!!! Hahaha! Took me more than 60min to reach. It was a nice environment cos it was quiet. The child care centre was at those semi-D houses, so it was rather peaceful and nice. We took off and reached the nice cafe that she reco!

Fresh Fruits Lab!

Haha! We were playing with the cutlery and toys..

The decor and environment was very nice! Totally so like a "LAB"! Hahaha! Reminded me of my chemistry days...

And oh, the fruit juice was so nice!!! I simply love it!!!

The sinful truffle fries were also very yummy!

And my dear Lian's burger... We were so surprised of the LARGE portion!!! :)

I had a great dinner and thanks my babe Lian for the treat!!!

Random... Coffee and dinner with Qian!

Well, that's how life should be, right? Call a good fren and meet up impromptu for nice coffee and dinner!!!

I suddenly felt lost and decided to text Qian to see if she is free... And I was very glad when she says she is free to meet after lunch with her colleagues. So we meet at Bugis.

We chanced upon this nice cafe! Look new and I thought I read the name wrongly... Simi is "Mellower"??? Never heard of this cafe before lor! So we went to try...

We chatted so long and Qian got hungry again! Haha! :)

So we went for my fav curry rice!!! Yummy!!!

Well, sometimes we don't have to follow a certain schedule or planning... Impromptu seems to be good as well!! I had a good time with Qian and I think I shall try to jio frens out on a impromptu basis! Haha!
