There are 2 times a year where I would be asked to volunteer to be "promoter" at selected supermarkets. They are CNY and Hari Raya period. I will be donning in red Tee and shouting "Best price" "Sales" "Special Offer Special Offer"! Super fun and a good way to train to talk to strangers! And also a good way to boost confidence and thicken my skin! LOL! I love it!
This year I'm asked to go IMM Giant to be the cute promoter. :) I think LY I was at Jurong Point...
However, unfortunately, this year I developed super bad rashes all over my neck, hands and legs. Sigh... I have no idea why! I went to visit 3 different doctors, total 4 times! But all of them told me they have no idea...
One guessed that it might be due to food allergy (but cannot be mah, where got food allergy only affect neck, hands and legs???)...
One doctor said it might be eczyma... HUH??!! I never had any eczyma before lor! Can't be lah...
And another doctor guessed it might be due to dusty environment and stress in my lift... Sigh....
So many guesses... Donno which one is right... But one thing I am sure... I started seeing the rashes on my neck during my Market visit with the 2 overseas guests at Cathay Cineleisure and RWS. Maybe it is due to hot weather (I perspired like a pig!) or the dusty environment of Cineleisure (when we reached, they are just about to open)...
Anyway, I am still OK to go work lah, just that I had to buttoned up my tees right up to my neck to cover the rashes! Look so duh! :(
Anyway, I had fun selling and although I had to shout for almost 6 hours, I really enjoyed it, especially when I see people buying my drinks, lagi happy! LOL!
See my red neck??? LOL...! Not that "red-neck"... LOL....
My "souvenir" after the tentage sales... LOL! Think I carried too much cartons of drinks... And my soft skin cannot take it! :p
And time flies... Once again, Hari Raya is over! And CNY 2015 is coming! Hope my rashes will be cleared soon! :)
