Just went swimming again... Yawn.... And this time, I went at 1145am!!

BUT...............
There's no sun and its cloudy mah... So since I was super sianz at home (no good cable tv channels to watch le), so I took the "risk" to rush to the pool, hit it for 20 laps continuous and immediately as soon as there's a slight hint of sun, I pull out of the pool and in a flash, disappear into the changing room, put on my cap and ran back home....
Hahahah.... All the above within1.5 hrs!!!
poor thing hor... No choice mah, who tell me to be a VAMPIRE mah... sigh...

Janet Evanovich ~ A Stephanie Plum Novel
Am now reading this series of novel... Super addictive...
Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter... Meaning that she is tasked to bring back those criminals who did not turn up for their trial. Well, donch understand, right??
Haha... to explain further...
Criminal to a crime will be allowed bail before their court appearance. And some of them do not have the money to pay the bail upfront mah. So, Stephanie's cousin, Vincent Plum (he has a company called Vincent Plum Bond Company) will help those convicts pay the bail bond and when these convicts return to court, Vincent will earn 10% of the bond money.
But if these convict "FTA" (Failure to Appear") in court, then Vincent will have to forfeit the bond money! Thus, Vincent employed Stephanie (actually he was forced to employ her. She was totally NOT good at it!!) to help him catch back those FTA convicts. And she will earn a percentage of that bond money in return.
So in the process of catching and locating these FTAs, there are lots of funny things and stuff as Stephanie was really a bimbo!!! But somehow she still will manage to complete her job in a funny and hilarious way, which made the novel very interesting to read...
=) Haha... So I am a BIMBO myself lor... What's new?? =p

Pearl's birthday
Oh, just realised I saved this post in "draft"mode!!! Hahaha...
This was quite some time ago.. Think abt a month ago bah? We went to Red Dot at Dempsey to give Pearl a surprise birthday party.... (I cannot rem when liao leh.. Sometime in Sep bah... Right??)
Anyway, I did not really take a lot of photos becos Gine was the one with the camera and I too lazy to get the photos fr her lah... =)

Diversity Week
It was my company's Diversity Week... And each department had to have at least one person to take part in the Best Dressed Contest.
Well, in my dept, there are around 19 of us..... So, I won't be so suay right? Choose 1 out of 19 people leh... Sure won't be soooo "lucky" de lah....
Anyway it was another bright sunny day as usual... But when I stepped into the office, my boss asked me to take one paper out of a box... So I innocently picked one paper and ..........
Hahahaha... Say until like so chiam like dat.. Cut story short.... I was THE CHOSEN ONE.... How "cool" right? Well, simply, I had to "Dress up" in ethnic costume on that day and parade in front of EVERYONE de lor!!!
I made noise, grumbled and shouted and screamed and do whatever I did to try to get someone else to do it...
But NO USE de... Cos NO ONE BOTHER TO 'SAVE' ME LOR....
Sigh....
So no choice de lor, right? Since I "picked" my own fate, I had to live with it, right? If I am destined to be "malu-ed" in front of so many people, then no choice, right?
As the saying goes... If I don't go hell, who will?
So, one of my colleague offered to lend me her Yukata (so nice of her, right??? Then WHY DOESN'T SHE DO IT???!!!)
Anyway, cut story short.....
Tat fateful day came... (I tried hard not to think abt it.. but time flies de lor... Hahaha!!!)
tahdah!!!!!
Cute or not??? HEehee.....
Anyway, it was great fun lah.... Afterall it is just a 2 hours thingie....

Sandy Lam's concert in Singapore
I was given tickets to Sandy Lam's concert in Singapore on 18 Oct and I went with Lilian....
It was an AMAZING concert!!! Sandy was really GREAT!!! She can sing, dance and engage all of us during the 2 hours concert...
I was totally impressed!!!!
Din manage to take any photos as it was actually not permitted for us to take photos during concerts...

Some updates... Yawn....
It's been quite a while since I updated my blog...
Yawnnn.... It's not as if I did not do anything meaningful wor... It's just that I was too tired and nuah to update lah... And also I passed my modem to my bro and I still did not know how to set up that silly router.. Sigh...
Anyway, a few updates on my life....
And in the middle of the class, I decided to be zi-lian a bit and took some pic of myself!! Hahaha!!! oopss... =p
Went to Batam Holiday Inn with my colleagues again during the F1 weekend...
No interest in car racing so we decided to skip the country and contributed to our foreign spend... It was a relaxed weekend and basically we did nothing at all except to eat, shop and drink!
Our favourite FOOD ~~~ A&W ROOT BEER FLOAT AND CURLY FRIES!!!
We also went to the supermart to stock up our snacks for the night....
Actually we were all too tired to drink alot.. .In the end we oni finished 6 cans of beer and 1.5 bot of wine... sigh.. Lousy...

Attended my fren's Photo workshop... It was really a very insightful workshop. She taught us how to take nice pictures and how to control the lightings, etc. Then we all went out to the streets to try our hands at taking our own photos!

I rem the very last time that i went to public pool (think was around 5 years ago!?), I was chased out by the life-guard... And the reason? Becos I was wearing bikini!!! Wow lau! Damn MALU de lor!! At that time i think wearing bikinis to public pool was a no-no... But now I heard from my neighbour Kel that it was SOOO common le lah... So sua-ku like dat... So i decided to take my chance again... And hey-hey! No trouble at all! Good!!! So I can continue to go S$1.30 swimming le!!! Hahaha!!!
Swam 24 laps ytd... damn tired now...

I hate to wear bra de... Many of my friends or colleagues know too... But donno why, suddenly felt like go buy bra today...hahaha!! And in a flash, I checked out the counter with 3 CK bras and my usual stick-on bra... Hahah!! Total cost S$350!! =p
