Birthday dinner and wine with Mic and Bren! :)

Thanks so much for Brenda for pulling me out of house! I was actually feeling very tired cos I drank with my colleague till 4am the previous night! And only slept at around 5plus am! ...

Anyway, we went to Ippudo, supposedly a very good ramen place along Mhd sultan... hmmm... never heard of this place before and heard it opens till 2am! Good place to hang out at night!! :)

The ramen is nice! Although a bit too little, but good for diet! :) The spicy noodles are different from Miharu and Santouka... The soup is slightly on the salty spicy side, quite similar to Tom Yum pattern. Miharu's spicy soup is more thick and rich while Santouka's soup is more sweet.

And after a good ramen session, we went to the new Wine connection along the same street. And oh man! it was very crowded!!! :)

Birthday cele at Fish & Co w Team

It was a fun lunch with my team at fish and Co... the staffs actually will sing and sign a card for me!!! :)

Made me feel like a secondary school kid again!!!

Met my long-long-time frens Qianjie and Gine for dinner to cele my 35 bd! :)

I have met Gine a few weeks back but for Qian, I have not met her since our last gathering at Wah Lok in Feb 2011 last year!!! It has been exactly a YEAR!!! :) (Click here for our 2011 Wah Lok cele!)

This place was very interesting, they served breakfast all day!! hahaha... I was having pancakes while Gine had her English breakfast. Qianjie had a salmon with rosti! It was all very nice! :)

(Don't Gine's benedict eggs look so much like vanilla ice cream?!!? hahahah)

The rosti is so much more tastier than Marche!

Cosy place too! It was at the new mall, Scotts Square... and it was relly FREEZING! maybe cos it is new and not many people knew about it... the mall was basically quite empty!!! :)

Anyways, thanks gals! Qian jie paid for this meal and the next one will be Gine!! hahah!!! :p

Airshow in SG

nope... i didn't attend this airshow and honestly... I don't even know about it!

I was going facial one day and saw this car parked at Marina Square... I found it cool and took a photo.. and when I was driving out of the carpark, I saw many many such cars parked at the carpark! I guess the official hotel might be marina mandarin bah!!!

Sales convention 2012

This is my 2nd time attending the Sales convention, but my first one to stay for the night... Last year I didn't stay overnight cos I need to rush my MBA assignment. But this year, I am a free woman!!! YEAH!!
I have never been to Turi beach before and was very surprised to see that this resort is very nice!!! The room is super fantastic and I was very happy to be given a room to myself (actually I'm supposed to share with a colleague but she last min cannot make it)... Yesh! Whole room to myself! :)

I totally love the full length and full fledge mirror in the room!!!! YESH!!!

Although I had a terrible day during the race (my muscle still aching leh!!), I get to enjoy a nice room at night!! Totally so love ittt!!! Encanta!!!

(We had to find non-coke staffs to form the word "Coca-Cola" with us in order to pass the station activity... so funny!!!)

Anyway, back to the room... you know what? The beach is just right in front of my room!!! YESH again!! :) I can hear the sea waves and nice sky...

The stage is just below my room... And I can watch my colleagues party and dancing while I was resting in my room at night after the dinner.

It was a nice night at the beach resort and definitely I will be going back there again!! :)

Gym Ball!!!

This is sooo Cute!!! Bought a gymball and am currently sitting on it now while working on my presentation deck! hahah!!! Am determine to lose weight!!!

大年初三... 开工咯！

First day of work after CNY breakie (only 2 days break in Singapore... so DUH! .. )

Anyways, we have lion dance in office today, so I need to be in office early... yawn... it's really quite a boring day actually... many people were still on leave and thus the office was quite quiet... :) I purposely had to go buy a non-black dress for this day! :)

A strange thing happened! I was doing spring cleaning and placed my mirrors standing on my cupboard. And I put a mug (which I don't use any more) behind the mirrors. But.... I have no idea what happened, while we were waiting for the lions to come up to our office, suddenly I heard a loud thud and when I turned over, I saw my mirrors falling off the cupboard and in a flash, my mug was smashed to pieces on the floor!! It was strange! Cos the mug is behind the mirrors, and maybe due to the vibrations from the lion dance troupe's drums, the mirrors dropped... But the mirrors were in front of the mug, thus by right, the mirrors dropping to the ground will not "pull" the mug to fall as well. I have no idea how the mug can drop to the floor by itself!!!

Anyways, although it is superstitious that things should not break during the CNY period, but since it happened, I can only hope for 岁岁平安，富贵开花！

Anyways, I cleared up the mess before the lions arrived... HUAT ar!!!

It was a very sian day in the office... I did a few work and after work, I went off to meet Michael for dinner before I attend my Spanish class. We have no idea where to go and since my Spanish class was at Bencoolen, we decided to just meet at Bugis Junction.

Honestly the food was not fantastic... :( But guess that was the only place that looked nice and easy to sit and talk. And interestingly, the table besides us were labelled "RESERVED". We were wondering why people will reserve seats here cos this place usually was not packed. And Michael was saying that perhaps the people who reserved this seat might have some good memories about this place at this seat. Maybe they are a couple who met and fall in love at this seat!.. Hahahah... We were quite curious...

And............

Guess what.............

2 guys came and sat down at that reserved seat! Ok........... I thought that they might be good frens... But...............

They were sooooooooooooooooo loving!!!

One of them kept taking pictures of the other guy and they even shared a dessert together!! 真是甜蜜蜜！Super funny!!!!

Anyway, during the 15 days of CNY, I did nothing much... Went for 2 housewarmings on the first weekend of CNY... And went for Tonkichi dinner and wine on my lunar birthday on 初八. As usual, this place opposite my home was empty, except for 2 tables, where they were the owner's friends... Sigh... we were the only true customers!!!!

And near the last few days of CNY, me and Michael went to check out a new place besides the wine place... It was called the Fat Cat... Seem quite good... It has a mixture of 3 cuisines - Thai, French and North indian.... I have ate a bit at home, thus I didn't order anything... Michael ordered the French stall's pasta...

And this pasta is much better than the one in Bugis! :)

That's about all for the 15 days of CNY... Basically it is quite a boring period for me...
