HAPPY 2021!

Staycation again - Sheraton Towers... :)

Decided to go for another staycation again after 1 month! This time we at Sheraton Towers... 

Yeah finally my selfie stick is working!!! :p

We were so hungry (Actually it is only me that's hungry...) Had to wait until hi-tea time lor... aww....

I was so hungry that I ordered main dish as well - Laksa! 

It was yummy!!! Maybe cos I was too hungry too lah.. Hahaha...

Anyway their hi-tea set was so pretty and not bad! 

After a hearty hi-tea, we went back to the room to KO... I was very exhausted so I took a nap... And then we decided to take a walk to Orchard to windowshop... 

Were at Paragon and saw this new ramen store where ppl were queueing.. Haha being kaypo Singaporeans, we went to check-it-out... Hmmm seem like it was a super popular ramen store, with truffle ramen as its specialty...

Well, it stated that they only serve like 20 bowls a day... Huh? Really meh? So we ordered and it was still available lor.. Chay... I don't think we are that lucky.. I guess this was just a gimmick lah..

Not bad lah... The ramen was ok... 

We were quite bo liao so we were searching on what we can do on a Sat night at Orchard... Well, almost all massage parlours were packed lor... The earliest slot was 1am!! Wahlau... I think we cannot dong until 1 am lah...

So we decided to go MOVIE! I haven't been to movie theatre for more than 1 year lor! 

So we booked tickets to a show (Which none of us knew what it was)... And off we go! LOL

Hahah we were really so bo liao :p

"All the little things" were so-so.. altho the actors were superb! But I think the plot was a little slow.. There were some twists to the plot which made it interesting though. 

We literally KO when reached hotel... LOL

The next day we checked out early for breakfast at Kith cafe nearby... 

Really a relaxing staycation to end Jan!

As usual we were the MOST Noisy bunch at the restaurant lor! But lucky for me, I am not sitting beside Karen (oops!)... Hahahah so my ears not so painful whahahahahhahaha! 

Anyway really thankful to this lovely bunch of ladies who were always so cheerful! :)

And the bee-gee-nee topic was so hilarious!!!

Lots and lots and lots of food!!!

I think we might have scare the kitchen by ordering so much MEAT for an all-ladies table! Hahaha!

Revamped my TATTOO!!! Finally my Xiannv is reborn!!!

I have always wanted to rework on my Xiannv but I have no guts lor... Pain leh... It was already 17 years ago but I can still remember the PAIN... 

Anyway one night I can't sleep, and donno why, I decided to just scroll for good tattoo artists in SG.. And I chanced upon this website where Muttons had made a youtube video... Out of curiosity, I watched the video and got interested in this artist. 

So I texted her to ask for her advice on reworking my tattoo (it was midnight!) and honestly I didn't expect any reply... 

But I got her reply! Well, at first I am not so keen cos her reply was like... Half-hearted... She only asked me to send a photo of my current tattoo to her. 

Then I forgot about it... However after a few days, I decided to just take a photo and send lah... 

And she replied... After seeing her reply, I somehow felt reassured that she knew her stuff! And somehow I am not that scared anymore. So I immediately fixed an appt and after consultation and a week for her to do the design, I went for the rework! 

Cool right? :)

And the irony was... 

My old tattoo cost me $80...

And this new one.... cost me...

$800

10 times more ex! ;p  Worse than any inflation! But it was good investment!

New year lunch with JC babes :)

As usual, we are the loudest and noisiest bunch there! LOL!

It was phase 3 and we can gather more than 5 pax now.. So we decided to go lunch to cele Ailei and YY's birthday, as well as the new year! 

Nice bracelets from Ailei! I felt like a schoolgal again! :)

New year again! 2021~

 yeah, it's a brand new year again!

I felt like a Hamster, running on a wheel - a big one though, a wheel that takes 365 days to finish 1 round) and back to the start again. Haha... 

Well, what can I say about 2020? As I had mentioned a bit in my previous post, well, I guess there are alot of thoughts that run through my head right now, however it is very tough to organise them. Cos there are ups and downs, good and bad, gain and losses throughout the year, which at a glance, it seem quite normal for any year wor! But.... How do I put it? It is just.... Different. 

Different that I had a new job, a new way of working, a bunch of new colleagues, some new friends, new habits, getting used to my new home, new environment, etc.
