Church and lunch with Kitty

It has been nearly a few months since I last been to church... I've been needing Him for the past few months but I still prefer going with Kitty than alone...

Anyway, finally Kitty was free and we went church!

Before that, we met for lunch and omg! This place serve all day breakfast! Yummy!!

The French toast with bananas was fantastic! Can't forget the nice sweet taste! Gonna go back anytime!

Noodles!!!

It's been more than a year since I last saw the ladies... At that time, Yin Meng was still pregnant.. Now her daughter was already 1 year old!

We decided to try a new place at Shaw centre, selling only noodles... Quite nice though... The noodles was very nice, very Q and flavorful... Quite sinful too cos the chef put lots of pig oil!!! Other than that, I thought it was worth the try... But it was super expensive! Superbly expensive de lor! Lol!

Each of us ordered a bowl of noodles with drinks... And also a plate of fried wontons...

This is the big fried wontons... Basically only crispy flour cos the meat filling was so small! But I love the crunchy taste, just like crackers!

This is my chicken noodles... Yummy!!!

YM ordered the lor-bak noodles...

And Giam ordered the prawn noodles... All look so yummy!!!

Guess how much?

$52!!! Lol!!! Anyway it's nice! Don't mind going back again!

New Year lunch with family!

Last year this time, we had Din Tai Fung... So now, my mom wanted to eat the same thing! So funny!

As usual, I had my JaJang noodles... I've been loving this noodle since my first time trying it in Narita village.

At that time, we missed the flight cos I insisted being honest and refused to cheat the station. Well, we were holding on to an expired JR line pass, but my bf at that time was trying to use it to bypass the station gate. I didn't want to cheat. So I refused and insisted to buy a ticket. So we missed the train and reached airport too late.

I was feeling sorry already. Luckily there were available seats on the next flight but we need to wait around 6 hours. So we took a train to the nearest town, Narita. E were both tired and hungry then. So we walked and found a place to eat. As it was a small town, not many ppl speak English. So when we were at the restaurant, we have to rely on my poor Japanese to order food. There was a "Jaja noodles" and the picture looked good. So I ordered that.

It turned out to be "炸酱面"! I didn't know until I reached SG and saw it in some Chinese restaurant.

Wow... What a good memory!

New Year Day...

It's officially 2015... Wow... I didn't expect this day to come so soon!

Went out with Nan and Kermit. We haven't met for a few months! It was a happy meeting as we just got to know the Nan is pregnant!!!

Omg!!!

It seemed like yesterday that she was sitting besides me in class when we were 13 years old in the old Dunman High... It was 1990 and she was my first friend!

Now she's gonna be a mom... Amazing!!!

Both ladies were super camera-shy! So both are not keen to take any photos. Sigh... They don't understand the meaning behind documenting all meaningful things that happen. I really enjoying reading all those things I've done in the past few years... Meaningful to know that I still have friends and how we have all grown up!

Terrible photo, but oh well! Happy New Year!

Great catch up! After 20 years!

I'm definitely not kidding when I said I have not met most of them for nearly 20 years!

And they all looked the same! Omg!!! Lol!

I was having many hesitations on whether to meet them or not. Well, I'm typically a shy person and I'm not very keen on any socializing activities. What if we have like, nothing to talk about??? Would it be awkward?!

Well, I did turn up after all. I was very late but glad that I went. Was fun to know what each other has been up to for that 20 years... One was pilot, one was doing equity, a teacher, a research assistant, some housewives, etc.

I ordered cuppucino and had so much fun talking about our JC days! We made so much noise that most customers at that cafe left. Haha! I'm so afriad the cafe manager will throw us out!!!

Anyway, the guys didn't want to go home just like that, so we decided to go for a short drink nearby.

It was fun! But I was too tired. We talked till 2am! Omg!
