a happy 2010 xmas... =)
this has been a rather peaceful and quiet xmas for me! which is good! looking back at last year, i guess my xmas was rather bad. was very emo last year...
this year was very nice...
i spend my xmas eve at home. went home after a half-day work, and took a nice nap before embarking on my thesis's literature research work till right into xmas day! it was around 3am when i finally crawled into bed... *praying that santa can give me some 灵感 for my research*
and surprisingly, i woke up really early! was up and energetic at 7am! was supposed to bring some beehoon to my fren's gathering at 1230pm. So since am up early, might as well get the things done...
so i went out around 9am, and was pleasantly surprise that the road was very empty! obviously people must have partied till early in the morning and most of them are either drunk in bed now or already in morning church....
oh well, since the road is easy to drive, i might as well go for CAR WASH! yeah! my car was damn dirty lor! i basically need to go car wash once every week... cos i had to park open-aired at my office, and apparently the birds at our office ALWAYS LS lor! and I really wonder what they ate! their shit was always slimmy in RED colour!!! grosssss!!!! =((
Anyways, went car wash and was happy to find ATM! I really need to draw money! usually i will go to S'goon Central for that, but ever since NEX opened, the road leading to the Central was always jammed with cars... so i rather not join the queue... sigh....
After car wash and drawn my cash, i proceed to Lor Lew Lian to buy my beehoon for the lunch gathering... =)
Proceeded back home after completing all my tasks, feeling very peaceful and happy! *so easily satisfied hor!*
Nuah at home surfing the net and watching tv before driving to Qianjie's house for the gathering...
OH, did i mention that I had to go YMCA for my project work????
Don't look so surprise lor!! YES, u heard me correct... I AM MEETING MY TEAMMATES FOR MY MBA PROJECT ON XMAS DAY!
sigh... what to do... no choice mah... our deadline was super near and we are not even 50% done!!!
So I can only linger at Qianjie's house for about 1.5hr before i chiong to YMCA to meet my teammates... hahaha... the people at YMCA must be thinking tat we are MAD!
Anyway, we are quite efficient that day and I was quite happy! We completed what we set out to do by around 630pm and off I am on my way home!!!
HOME sweet HOME!
And I was knocked out at around 10pm!!! LOL!
It was really a happy and peaceful xmas... no emo, no tears, no regrets, no lonely feelings... =)

this is really a cool place!!!
a rather "confused" place actually... this is supposed to be a Thai restaurant lor.. but then... there's a microbrewery inside... and they brew German beer!
And that's not all... There's Live Band!!!
And then hor.. the Live Band can sing Thai, Eng, Chinese and Hokkien songs!!
And then hor...
The crowd is very funny too!
There's family crowd (with kids!), there's young executives (who are superrrr ROWDY and HIGH!) and there's also expats and couples....
Make me feel like going for D&D cos the crowd is so rowdy and they all will stand up with the band and cheer and dance to the music!!! And the crowd can get so high that they will jump onto the stage to dance with the singers! WOOHOOO!!!
Will definitely going there again!!! =)

narnia... 3D
finally went to watch a 3D film...
i never wanted to watch 3D though.. but its my parents' church's activity and my mummie had bought 4 tix... so had to go lor... and its at the new Shaw Nex!! WOOHOO!! new cinema wor!!!
so i went with my mummie and dad... super crowded man!!! nearly DIED there... don understand why this "neighbourhood" place can attract so many people lor... if there is a bomb, am sure it will eliminate about 1/5 of SG population!!!
OKOK.. its a bit exaggerating.. but u get the idea...
anyways.... the movie is OK... not tat bad.. the 3D effect was really nothing much... might as well watch 2D lor.. cheaper somemore...

xmas tree! .. but a small one... haha!
my mummie decided to buy a xmas tree so that can take photo with the kids!!!WOOHOO!! So cool right?! we never have any xmas trees before lor...
but then.... she oni wanted a SMALL one... LOL!! i always hope for a big one though... more 气氛 that way mah.... but true lah... it is quite wasteful to get a big one for a few hundreds bucks and then throw away after xmas... sigh...
so a small one is better!!! =)

Forgot to po this up...Had a great lunchie with my mummie, papa and bro at Hougang... one of the new food court there... ordered all our fav food! and it was cheap too! =)
i should go for more such family gathering!!! =)
pimples pimples go away...
I found this really very good!Just stick this tape onto the pimples... and after just 2 nights or so, the pimple will be gone!!! and the skin remains OK, without being too dry (not like what other pimple creams does to skin!)... =)

It's BEER time (After vitamin water...)
After our search for vitamin water (we walked from Cineleisure, to paragon, to Taka, to Wisma and then to ION!), we decided to treat ourselves to some snacks...We have not been to SCAPE park before, thus decided to pop by to see see look look (cannot be suah-kus, right?)
Oh well... there's really nothing much at SCAPE Park.. quite disappointing cos I heard alot about this place and the YOG celebration took place here as well.. So I thought this might be a happening place lor... But alas! The place was DESERTED lor!
Anyways, we spotted some cafes at a corner.... And while we were browsing the menu from a cafe called "Music Cafe - by Swee Lee", we spotted a banner stating "3 KIRIN BEER @ S$13.80"
.....
WOOHOO!!! Being a BEER guy, of cos Michael was attracted to this cafe called The White Dog Cafe... The place was decorated like a "dog" place (obviously right?!) and most importantly... they served cheap good beer!
Hey! 3 bottles for just S$13.80 is really cheap lor! Each bottle barely $5 bucks!!! =)
We sat at a corner which obviously was decorated to be the "kennel".... Erm... so we... are ... dogs????
Well.. as long as give me the beer, am a happy dog... Wooffff.... and *burps*
glaceau vitamin water launch! in SG!
Finally I have waited long enough for the launch of glaceau vitamin water in SG! YAR.. you can't believe how long i have waited lor!
Supposedly to be launched in end May... Then postponed to July... Then postponed to Sep... Then postponed to Oct... Then finally nailed to end Nov!! YESHHH!!! =)
It was a very long journey!!!! But a fulfilling one!!! Finally it was launched!!!!
We had an internal launch (for all sales staff) at ION SKY (55th level at ION)... The view was spectacular!!! =) We started cam-whoring... very fun... we were made to do 3 poses for each photo!!!
Beautiful and colourful stage!!!
The internal launch was a simple one... But the trade and media launch was much spectacular... And when it approached evening time, the view was so much nicer!!!
How i wish I got a unit in those nice condos!!!
Trade launch... Din managed to get any pictures taken though.. the place was packed with people!!! And i caught sight of Allan Wu and Wong Li Lin! PRetty couple!!! And of cos a few familiar Mediacorp people (but I can't rem the names.. :p)
And while we have our launch party at the 55th level, the LED screen at ION was displaying the running visuals of our vitaminwater!!! The view was sooo great and spectacular!!!
Anyways, after a night of launch party (it ended about 11pm and my feet hurts like mad after that!), I went over to the pop-up store on Sunday to take a look....
Oh wells... a happy bernie after overdosed of vitamin water!!! (me and michael went for sinful snacks and beer after that! See post "It's BEER TIME!!")
