Japan photos... Just a few lah...
Yuppies!! The long overdue Japan photos!!! I shan't talk too much and let the pictures do their own talkings, yah!! =)
This is the cheapest flight that I have taken to go Japan yah... We took Malaysian Airline's night flight to KL for transit. And we reached Japan around 7plus? (cannot rem!!! hahaha)...
Anyway, the custom queue was super long!! and it took us nearly 1 hour to clear the custom at Japan... by the time we figured out how to take the train to Ueno, it was ard 9am... and it took us abt 1 hour plus's train ride to Ueno... And took us abt another 30min to find our apt!
hahahah... but all is good cos we found the apt quite soon, and as the check in time was 2pm (and it was abt near 11am only), the receptionist kindly allowed us to place ou
r luggage there and we can go walk walk in the vicinity...And guess wat! while we are walking out of the apt and thinking of going to Ueno streets, we saw this place whereby there were lot of ppl queueing up! It's a ramen stall... looked a bit small and hidden in a corner.. but then the queue was long lor and it was amazing cos its freezing cold and yet ppl still wanna stand outside the stall to wait for it to open....

WAU!!! It was worth the queueing la... the ramen was really GOOD!! Or maybe we are hungry lah... hahahaha....
After a really full ramen meal, we went to walk walk Ameyoko at Ueno....

The gals really have a "thing" for panda lor!!! hahahahahah!!!!
By the time we finished the streets, we were really tired and decided to take a seat at a cafe... Found this cafe and it seemed quite nice.. .so we went up the stairs and to our surprised, it is a "SMOKING" cafe! There are no areas for non-smokers, but as we were too tired, we decided to just remain there and have our coffee.... And it was really expensive lor!!! hahahaha.... The cafe name was funny too! It was called "Gya-lan", which if we translate to hokkien, it means "people leaving"!!!

That night, I need to do my assignment and had to nuah in the apt while Kermit and Nanchan went out to explore Tokyo.... Heard they explored Ueno JR station vicinity and they landed up in an Izakaya!

Then the next day, they went asakusa.... (similarly, I nuah inside the apt... yawnzzzz...)

Then near late afternoon, i went out to meet them to go Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku...

Nice autumn leaves.... around Yoyogi park....

Then I was feeling tired and as usual... I didn't join them for the next morning's trip... to Tsukiji market....Some zi-lian photos alone inside the apt!!! =)

Cup noodles were my meals almost every night!!! =)

Some photos from Nanchan's camera.. they went to Tsukiji, Aquarium, etc.... =)

Then over the weekends, we met up with Koji san and the 4 of us drove up to Nikko for the weekend!!! =)
This is the scene outside the hotel...

My breakfast!!!

On Sunday, we drove back to Tokyo and we wanted to try the famous Tokyo food - Monjyayaki! Thus Koji san brought us to the place that sell famous monjyayaki....

That's my okonomiyaki!!! For me, I think it tasted betta than monjyayaki! =)

For our 2nd last day, me and kermit went to Tokyo station to look look around (and especially to find Takashimaya!) and also took a train back to Shibuya area for one last shopping spree.... =)

Had a good curry lunch at Tokyo station!!!

And yup, we found Takashimaya!!!
And we went for high tea around Ginza area .. =)

After that, we met with Nanchan at Ginza to go take a look at Burberry store... Wanna look at blue label... but quite disappointing la... we din see anything that we like.... sigh...

Anyways, we have a good lunch at the airport...

And inside the plane, I find the food quite disgusting... =(
