Change of my Blog address....

Yar, I changed my blog address...

It actually took me a few weeks to decide to change this address. It was really a tough decision, cos it is impossible to inform everyone abt this change and thus, I will lose some of my readers.

Anyways, hack lah.... My blog is so "popular" that there were alot of "unwanted" guests viewing my blog... I actually feel that I lost my privacy!! Come on, blogs are supposed to be diary, where I could just input whatever stuff and personal comments... But when there were so many "un-related" people out there reading my personal life, I feel so "naked"... As such, you could see that I seldom blog anymore...

I finally realised the sorrow of being a "celebrity"!! Yahahhaaa!! Like real...

Well, in any case, I AM BACK!!! BACK with more stuff to share and shout about!

Those people who know this new blog address are ALL my very good friends and buddies and brothers and sisters....

So, if you are reading this, then u can be sure that you are my GOOD GOOD friend lah~~~!!!

Cheers!!!

A Scary Thai Movie

I wasn't in the mood to blog often, cos I was really unlucky recently... Thus, I would rather rest and don't do anything unnecessarily... Just in case anything unlucky would happen to my precious blog....

Anyway, just to recap....

Went for company retreat to Bangkok on 15 - 18 Dec... Super tired....

To cut long story short, I did not do much shopping, except to buy some souvenirs and T-shirts back for friends, family and relatives... I was really tired shopping in MBK during the last day that I decided to just go watch a movie to rest my legs... Who knows, I might be able to catch a short nap inside the theatre! I don't care!

Well, I was looking forward to watch Chicken Little and King Kong, but both movies were so popular that limited seats were available. Thus, not willing to give up, I chanced upon an advertising board, promoting a THAI movie. Since everything was written in Thai words, I have no idea what show is this.

Anyway, since this is the only movie available at that moment, I thought: "Shouldn't be that bad lah." Thus, I went to buy the ticket immediately. I can't pronounce the title, thus I pointed out to the counter lady.

I realised that something was wrong when she gave me a strange look and asked me if I needed only ONE ticket. "Of course!" I said confidently... There's no rule saying that single lady can't watch movie by herself, right????

Then, when the movie started, I immediately REGRETTED....

The name of the movie was "LONG THONG (Thai), or THE ART OF DEVIL 2" (Obviously this is the 2nd such movie)

http://www.longkhong.com/

This movie was so damn scary!!!!!

These are some of the downloads that I got from the website.... All these remind me of those gruelsome scenes in the movie.... Arghhhh....I can feel my hair all stand up!!

This movie started like this ....

Scene 1:
A man is fishing on a long tail boat. (Well, nothing new...) At last he caught a catfish! He was so excited. He immediately pulled the catfish out and tried to get the bait (hook) off the fish. He twisted and pulled and tried hard.. But the hook was firmly stuck inside the catfish's mouth.

Then suddenly, the hook got loose and snapped into this man's thumb! BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD and horrified screams from the man! (I was so shocked! I closed my eyes, refused to witness the hook that pierced through the man's thumb)

Scene 2:
This man was brought to the medium (the person who could ward off evil spirits or devils). He was suffering and the hook still stuck to his thumb. The medium did the usual ritual and revealed that this was the "Cambodia Curse".

Then suddenly, at the end of the ritual, this man burst out screaming in pain! In a flash, hooks were coming out of his body, at different parts of his body, like arms, legs, back, neck and even got hooks coming out of his EYES!! (Obviously I closed my eyes, not wanting to witness further!)

Then I think this man died.... (so sorry lah, my eyes were closed at this point, so I don't know what happen exactly...)

So at this point, I already regretted. Those Thai people sitting beside me were all cuddled up with their partners, and I was there alone!!! I am not those girls that could take horror scenes like this!!

That's not the end... It's just the beginning!

For those who wish to know the story, can continue to read on... For those, not interested, go and surf other blogs lah!!!

The main characters of this show are 6 friends. They graduated 2 years ago and now all were leading different lives of their own. At one coincidental moment, they heard abt the death of one of their friend, Ta's dad. Thus the other 5 friends decided to pay Ta a visit at his hometown.

Surely I expect that Ta's hometown to be those eerie, old and dark kampong, with alot of trees and bushes and rivers and wooden houses.... and YES, I WAS DAMN CORRECT!!!

Anyway, these 6 friends met and was having a good time... They also met up with Ta's stepmother, who was an ex-Teacher in their school. They respected her alot as she is a very nice woman.

The twist came when one of them, called Noot needed to go back to mainland because her uncle needed some help (cannot remember lah)... The other 5 friends stayed behind and ate the dinner cooked by the stepmother.

Horribly, it turned out that there's Noot's fingernails, and tongue-ring inside the curry soup!!! Immediately they realised that Noot was killed and being cooked into curry soup for them to eat!!! (This scene was gruelsome as they showed Noot's half-face inside the soup! Coupled with those terrifying sound effects as well as those friends' screams and cries, I was so shocked!!!)

It turned out they had offended Ta's stepmother 2 years ago.

They were schooling at the school where Ta's stepmother was a teacher. They witnessed her affairs with another guy-teacher. One of the friends, called Pon was secretly in love with her. Thus, he laid a CURSE on her, wanting to torment her.

The other few friends hated that guy-teacher, thus they secretly used a video cam to capture the love scenes and as a revenge, they played this tape for the whole school. Thus, in the end, she was fired from the school and the guy-teacher died during fishing (He was THAT guy in the 1st scene!!)

To cut the whole story short, she finally got released of her curse and also got the power to laid curses on others. Her whole body was tattooed with scriptures and it was very eerie just looking at those tattoos with blood streaming out of them...

She wanted to know who laid the curse on her, thus she started to torture the 5 friends one-by-one (Noot died already, remember? So only left 5: Ta, Pon, Kim, Nair & one more - cannot remember liao)....

Nair - The teacher laid a curse on her eyes, so she could see those evil spirits. Nair got so scared and histerical that she can't take it anymore. In the end, she got a bit crazy and digged out her own eyes. Not able to see anything, she fell head-first into a tub of BOILING water! Her whole face was scarred!!!

One guy (cannot remember his name) - The teacher laid a curse on him, making his body sufferred... suddenly, spots appeared all over his body and at a burst, huge lizards crawled out of each hole and he bled to death....

Pon - This is the guy who had laid a curse on her 2 years ago cos he was jealous of her affairs with other guy-teacher. He refused to confess, thus, he was subjected to body tortures like, pulling out his teeth one-by-one, and various cuts on his legs... Finally, when he confessed, the teacher wanted to perform a RITUAL to send him to the "3-eyed God".

This ritual was scary!!! I can't bear to witness several scenes, thus, I can only use my ears to "listen"...

Pon was tied and placed on a bed. He was fully aware of what's going on... (Imagine the fear he had now!!) The teacher mumbled some scriptures and suddenly hold up a kettle of BOILED water. (EEKKK!!!)

"I will have to clean (Sterilise) your insides" She mumbled. At this moment, she forced open Pon's mouth and pour the entire BOILING WATER into his mouth!!!

(AHHHH!!! I am turning green...)

Pon was still alive after this torture, but his tongue and mouth and throat all boiled already. (Smoke was coming out of his mouth)...

Then the teacher started to mumble that "I will clean you up now"... And to my horror... She pulled out a fire-lighter and started to burn Pon from his feet slowly up to his neck!!!

All this while, Pon was STILL ALIVE!! He was obviously suffering but can't scream or shout cos his tongue and throat all burned already!!! He could only open his eyes and shivered in pain! She wanted to torture him, thus, she left him to suffer before she kissed him goodbye and burned his face up... The whole body now look like burned "Char-siew"! Red, black and charred... But, strangely enough, Pon was still not dead yet!!!

The final ritual was to plant a DRILL onto his forehead!!! While she drilled it in, the police came! (As usual lah, police always appear at the end of the show!!)

Phew!!! So Kim and Ta were the only 2 survivors....

I thought that was the end of the story..... NOT SO!!!

Kim was injured while she was trying to run away from the teacher. Thus, while she was recuperating at the hospital, Ta accompanied her.

The TV was on and there were news about the capture of the Teacher and the reveal of her evil doings. They revealed the number of people she had murdered, including her husband, who was Ta's father.

Then one shocking moment came when...........

"Her son, Ta was also killed by her 2 years ago...."

???!!! What????

Kim was so shocked!!! And when she turned to face Ta, Ta became the "char-siew" face (He was being tortured the same way as Pon).

Actually, Kim laid a Curse on Ta too, 2 years back.
Ta was the most desirable guy in school and alot of girls were going after him. Thus, to show-off, Kim placed a bet with her friend that Ta will become her boyfriend within 2 weeks. In order to fulfill her bet, she took the risk of consulting the medium and laid a curse on him to follow her all her life.

Thus, the curse worked!!
HE WAS FOLLOWING HER all the while, even when HE'S DEAD!

The last scene was..........

Kim fell out of the hospital window to her death......

END OF STORY......

Very Belly Tired....

Who would have thought that Belly Dancing can "KILL"????

Actually now I cannot remember what made me sign up for Belly dancing classes in the first place... Cos when I think abt it, I really have no idea what made me fall into this trap! Hahahahaa.... Sound so serious hor!!

Anyways..........

Every Tuesday, Gine, Kermit and me (together with Gine's 2 friends, Jenny and er... forgot her name.. Gine, Help!!) will report to Meritus Mandarin Hotel Fitness centre studio for a 2-hour Belly dance drill.

2 FULL HOURS , mind you!!! Yeah, 120 minutes continuously standing, twisting waist, squeezing and swinging bums, waving hands/arms, etc... How can all this not be tiring??? Especially for an old woman like me, who has never exercise for more than 4 years!!! My arms, waist, bums and legs are so weak that I got "toes-cramp" immediately during my first lesson! So embarrassing!!!

Thus, every Monday (which is today!) I will have a "Belly dance phobia".... I hate to be reminded that there will be Belly dancing class tomorrow!! Sick.... Can't stand myself... I such a weak gal!!

With my beer belly, I think I do look like one beerly belly dancer! Hahah!!! Well, nevertheless, all of us were so-called "members" of this school and all of us were given a membership card! Cool!! This really makes me feel like a Belly Dancer liao! YooHooo!

Actually I wanna take photo of our lessons... But I was afraid that my instructor will either throw me out of class or charge me for the photos! But I will take the risk and will add in more photos after tomorrow, which is our 3rd lesson already!

Go visit this website and you will see the wonders of Belly dancing...

X'mas Lightings and Decors in Singapore

Just came out of ICB... Feeling tired and sleepy.. Drank some beer (as usual) and felt very guilty... (Er... And ate some wedges as well.... I swear I ate ONLY a few pieces! Definitely Not more than 10! Really!!)

Actually it was EmeraldHill No.5's Anniversary party. I did bring my camera along. But since I have already taken so many photos abt this place, I decided not to take photos any more... After a few drinks at No. 5, me and Taka-san together with my colleagues went over to ICB for another round of drinks...

Well.... I was pondering whether should I join my galfrens at No. 5 or should I just "tng chu" (Hokkien for "go home")...

Luckily I did not go No. 5! I sms Gine to see if she and the gals were still there... Actually I wanted to check out the new place, called "The Balcony". This seems like a very nice chill-out place. Then she sms back that some of the gals were high and drunk and she was busily trying to get them home!

Sigh... Well, it's very common to drink a bit too much, especially when the drinks was FREE! And usually with a group of gals, the drinking mood was always on Tip-Top High! We will giggle and talk rubbish and gossip during drinks and thus, the chances of drinking too "over" were super high!

Anyway, since Gine was kept very busy, I decided to take a walk along Orchard Road... Might as well do a bit of exercise to shed off those beers and wedges calories...

I remember that when I was younger (Think am much much younger that time), I used to like to go Orchard Road during X'mas season to look at the various lighting decors and to take pictures of cos.... Hahahaha.... Sound very "Oor-piaan" hor...

Anyway, I was quite disappointed about this year's decor...

One description: PLAIN SIMPLE.

The lightings everywhere are very simple and not much creativity.... I didn't have the "WOW" feeling when I looked at these lightings decor....

Pls just tell me that these decors are super plain and "no big deal" lor...

Don't be mistaken!
(And don't sue me!! I don't want to be in the Headlines!)
("Another blogger kena sued by Govt for negative comments on x'mas decors. An attempt to spoil country image!")

Hahaha!!! Maybe I should provide the papers some nice photos of myself and maybe I can get some endorsements contracts from there!!! Hahahah!!! Wishful thinkings....

Oh, anyways.......... Not that I am complaining that these lightings are "ugly"... They look ok, perfectly normal (u know what I mean???) . They are NORMAL lighting displays that... that... nobody will actually notice them or remember anything... Nor will anyone exclaim or talk about the lighting decors during tea breaks or coffee time.... understand??

Well, I continued to walk towards Paragon and finally I saw some "a bit" nice decors....

There are some small stalls lining the pathway, selling niche items and interesting small stuff. They are there to brighten up the road and to add some shopping mood to the Festive seasons.... Or rather, they are there to snatch business from those shopping centres lah... So they will add pressures to these big shopping centres and make them lower their prices!!! Hahahah!!!

Saw this artist at work... Very cool...

Not much big deal anyway....

But I like this "candy" house.. This was DBS credit card roadshow... Very creative!!

Finally I reached CK Tangs... The decor here are much better...

The interior ceiling was quite nicely done up... Can see that efforts were being put into this decor...

But when I took the underpass to go towards Shaw Centre, I was amazed by the underpass advertisement boards...

Wow.... I think the X'mas mood is better here than!!! The ads are all so cute!! I love all the white furry thingie....

Of cos, you will come across some shopping centres that are totally oblivious to the seasons. I was surprised to see that Scotts Shopping Centre was without much X'mas decor... Strange...

Well, anyways.......... Can't complain much lah....

Chinese New Year is around the corner too. The retail people can't spend too much money on X'mas decors, cos people may just forget abt X'mas and get into Chinese New Year mood soon!
