Am now reading this series of novel... Super addictive...
Stephanie Plum is a bounty hunter... Meaning that she is tasked to bring back those criminals who did not turn up for their trial. Well, donch understand, right??
Haha... to explain further...
Criminal to a crime will be allowed bail before their court appearance. And some of them do not have the money to pay the bail upfront mah. So, Stephanie's cousin, Vincent Plum (he has a company called Vincent Plum Bond Company) will help those convicts pay the bail bond and when these convicts return to court, Vincent will earn 10% of the bond money.
But if these convict "FTA" (Failure to Appear") in court, then Vincent will have to forfeit the bond money! Thus, Vincent employed Stephanie (actually he was forced to employ her. She was totally NOT good at it!!) to help him catch back those FTA convicts. And she will earn a percentage of that bond money in return.
So in the process of catching and locating these FTAs, there are lots of funny things and stuff as Stephanie was really a bimbo!!! But somehow she still will manage to complete her job in a funny and hilarious way, which made the novel very interesting to read...
