am sure all of you must be thinking that i go there sure for HOLIDAYS de...
But.... NO! NO! NO!
sobz....
I went there to attend an elective: Marketing in a Digital and Cross-cultural world.
And oh boy! how tiring this trip was! I didn't really expect it to be that intensive and "siong", but then, I was wrong... probably because most of the classmates there were new to me, and I need to make efforts to get to know them and to be friendly with them, and try to blend in with the class. Thus I felt rather draining and tiring.
And also, I went there alone mah, so I had to check in luggage, make sure I board the plane on time, and also to make sure that I arrive at the university on time lor. And then, it was quite tiring to find my way around HK airport.
When I reached HK airport, I was not very sure where to go. And I had to follow the signage and walked a few big rounds to find the taxi stand. Of cos, there are different colour taxis going different locations. Lucky I asked the security gaurd and she told me to board the red colour taxi to go to Kowloon Tong.
And the cost is around HKD250. Ok lor, no choice mah, I don't think I got time to take the MTR lor... so i hop onto the taxi, thinking that i should be able to rest and relax in the cab liao... But then...........

The cab driver donno the way lor!! he had never heard abt the university at all! I showed him the address and I thought Kowloon Tong is supposed to be a popular place mah! And Lai Chi Kok Road is quite ok de leh, from my memory. But was surprised that he donno lor.
Anyway, he called his friend along the way and finally when we turned into the school, at least the challenge is to find the RIGHT building, which after consulting the security guard, we finally found the building!!! And it cost me HKD300!!!! Cos I think he made a longer way and we lost our way inside the university compound lah...
Anyway, I was there..... ON TIME!!! I reached 350pm! YOOHOO!! I was prepared to be late, but then guess I took the cab, thus I saved on some of the time...
Well, I was totally so tired by the time I reached the school lor... And then the class started with alot of siong exercises and then I was totally brain-dead-ed...
Finally I waited till the end of class, which was like 8pm!!! Brain-deaded!!!
Anyway, I was too tired to take MTR so i took cab back... It was cheap!! Only cost me HKD30! =)
Checked into Hotel Metropole... At Lai Chi Kok Road... It was a no-frill budget hotel, but I quite liked it, just that the staff there were totally unfriendly... =(((
Well, cannot complain la, it is cheap de lor!!!

Some zi-lian moments... I was too tired to go out eat so I dabao Mac back the room to eat... Disappointed cos no chilli sauce!!! SAD!!!! Sigh...

Anyway I took some views outside the hotel room in the morning before rushing off to class... This district was quite ok... Just that it is quite crowded and got quite a lot of KTVs, mahjong laces, etc... And the guys there didn't look like decent people lor... LOL!!! Like those old 古惑仔pattern de!!! =)

Anyway, it's another siong day in class... YAWN... don wanna talk too much abt it lah...
After class around 5pm, I went back hotel to put my laptop and took the MTR to meet Eunice and the gang... She said that her aunty is bringing us out for dinner... somewhere that served very good authentic HK food.. Ok la, since I promised her to join her, I had to go lah, although I was really quite tired by then....
And u know what? I had a great time! The aunty was a Tai-Tai, married to an Angmo Private Banker, so living a Tai Tai life in HK for more than 20 years!!! A very out-spoken and funny lady! So we had dinner till around 10pm...
And when I wanna go back to do my slides (had a presentation at 9am the next day!!!) the aunty insisted that I joined them for a short drink... So... I pai seh to reject her... So I joined them...
And the aunty brought us to a super atas place!!! It's at a roof-top of a building and people there all dress to kill!!! We were like some country pumpkins there cos we didn't expect to go such places!!! :)
But the place is nice la... =)
Anyways, by the time they decided to leave, it was already 230am!!! Die! I had to finish some slides for presentation!!!! Sigh... So I quickly hopped onto a cab to rush back hotel...

I was soooo tired that i dropped to go 7-11 to buy cup noodles, so that I can stay awake to finish my slides... And true enough, I managed to finish the slides by 430am! And i quickly crawl onto bed at around 445am.... YAWN!!!! The next day, the same drill again... And when I finished at 5pm, I was too tired to go dinner with classmates, so I took cab back hotel, with the pretext of sleeping early... I dropped by a eatery to dabao a cha-siu rice, thinking of eating and sleeping !!! But suay suay... I forgot to turn-off my "DO-NOT-DISTURB" sign, so my room was not make at all... sigh...
So I had to quickly finished my dinner... And call for room make-up, and leave the hotel to roam around...
