Batam rendezvous w my BEST frens!!!

9th of August is our Singapore's National Day and with pride and joy, me and my frens, kermit and Nan decided to go Batam to "celebrate" our nation's birthday!!! Hahahaha!!!

Apparently we are not the only ones who thought of leaving town to celebrate National Day de lor... So, who says we need to be in Singapore to celebrate Singapore's birthday???? =)

Well, anyway, today I was actually very tired... And I thought of nuahing in bed for slightly longer... But Nan said that we cannot be late... so no choice lor, we then agreed to meet at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 11am...

As usual, Kermit was late lor... hahahah... What's new??? =p

Anyway, we managed to board the ferry and on our way to the fairy land!!!

While in the ferry, Kermit was sooo busy that she didn't know that I was camera-ing her!!! Well, she might be the next SUPER-STAR wor!!! *wink

The ferry trip was ok and in about 45min, we reached Batam! And was chauffeured to the resort... I was tired so Nan and Kermit went to check-in while i sat on the sofa and day-dream...

So funny! There was a Merlion at the Lobby too!!! Did we "lend" our Merlion to Batam???

Anyway, we have done our check-in and I was surprised that we need the buggy to reach our villa... Hmmm.. Why can't we walk leh? Is it that far meh???

The buggy stopped and I was really SURPRISED!!!

Our Villa was really an awesome place!!! I really didn't expect this at all! I kept thinking that we will be staying at the normal kind of resort... Didn't know this is THE VILLA!!! It was ssoooooo NICE!!! I really didn't know how to describe... REALY don't know how to pen it down... Let the photo do the talking!!!

This is a ONE-Bedroom Villa, include a living room with an attached kitchen and of course one bedroom with a nice bed....

See our "bedroom" model??? Maybe Springcoil or Seahorse can consider using her to advertise their mattress??? Hahahah!!!

There's a shipping boat parked just outside our balcony... And there are some fishermen around there...
Our villa was right at the beach, right on top of the sea... And from our balcony, we are soooo close to the sea... We can see the beach and we can see the nice scenery, right at the balcony... It was really breathtaking....





After we settled down, we got the buggy to bring us back to the resort for the buffet lunch... Well, we were quite late by then, thus the food was nearly wiped up... But nevertheless, it was still quite good... Maybe we were hungry bah!! Hahah!

After lunch, we went to book for our spa... The Spa was quite fully booked!!! We only left with either 7pm slot or 2.30pm slot... So, after some discussion, Nan and Kermit decided to do the 2.30pm slot... So, since I can't do spa with them, I left them at the Spa and went back to the Villa to enjoy the whole place all by myself!!! I hardly can wait to get back to the nice villa!!! I just can't get enough!!!

By then, it was about 2.30pm and there was dark clouds forming in the sky... The whole atmosphere was sooo good! The villa was private and quiet and the sky was greyish and the air held some scent of the sea, with the splashing of waves heard at a distance...

I took a nice hot bath and made myself a cup of coffee before sitting at the balcony, looking at the fishermen doing their work while the tourists played some seasports like Bananaboat and jetskiing....

Well.... And finally, it RAINED....

It was such a nice feeling, hearing the rain drops falling on the rooftop and the raining hitting the windows... I fell asleep.... And drifted away....

After 2hours, I woke up and realised that the rain had stopped... And the sky was sooooo pretty!!! See that aurora?!!!



And at about 6plus, Nan and Kermit came back from their spa.... Hahahah!!! It was soo funny to hear them complain abt the spa treatment! Kermit got some scratched while Nan was frustrated of being deprived of her bath! Hahah... Anyway, cannot hiam lah.... =)

Then, we sat at the balcony and chit chat while enjoying rose tea brought by Nan... It was really a very relaxing evening....


We took the above photos while waiting for our "CHARLES" before going off for dinner... We had a 7-course dinner at the "Kelong Seafood Restaurant" (Kermit kept thinking that it was the "KALLANG Seafood restaurant"! Hahah!)

Well, after that I did not take any photos liao... I was totally so relaxed by then....

I still thought that the gals would want to have a "Face Mask" party, so I brought all my facemasks... Sigh..... Expected lah, after a beer each, Kermit and Nan was soooo tired that both of them fell asleep slightly before midnight le.... So, it is ok! I am very DISCIPLINED de lor!!! I still insisted on doing my double face masks!!!! =)

As usual, we called for "Charles" and went back to the resort for breakfast... The breakfast was superly good!!! Much better than lunch though....

As usual lah, I was soooo greedy that I focused on eating eating and eating, so no photos... paiseh yah!! =p

Anyway, after breakfast, we walked to take a look at the pool and the beach before chancing upon a nice hideaway! It was a secluded hut-lookalike place meant for "outdoor massage". But there was no customers at that time. So we decided to take our beers and to drink it at this nice place....

So funny.... Kermit was a bit floaty after her beer.... And she was really RED lor!!! Hahahah!!!


We saw a jacuzzi pool just below the massage hut and Nan decided to have a dip!! So, me and Kermit took photos of her from the hut...

Nice view from the hut lah... Anyway, we nuah at that place for abt 2 hours before dragging ourselves to pack our bags for checkout....

It was really a nice trip and holiday.... Really looking forward to having such a weekend again!!!

My younger days~~

1978 = This is my first birthday celebration!! See how happy I was!! I heard from my Mum that I kept grabbing a sweet in my left hand and refused to let go!

1979 = My brother's first year... And we have shifted into our new flat in Henderson Road...

1981 (or 1982?? Cannot remember liao lah!) = We went to our grandma's new place's playground... All the four of us looked very cute hor!!!

My Kindergarten Graduation!!!

My first PRETTY moment!!! Hahahah!!! I was the flower-gal for my aunty's wedding... I was so very nervous!! I still remember that I was so nervous that I can't smile!! When we were at the Botanic garden for photo taking, got one foreigner wanted to take a picture of me cos he think I very cute! But I was so scared that I was very stiff when he took my photo! Hahahah!!!

And in 1985, it's my Pri 2 days!!! Can spot me??? I was already wearing specs at that time...

And in 1986, it was my Pri 3 days!!! I still remembered that me and my classmates were chosen to perform Japanese dance during Teachers' Day.... The costume was borrowed from my classmate..

And in 1988, it's my Pri 5 days!!! See that poster on the very top? It was drawn by me!!! The caption was "Bury Yourself in a Good Book!!" This poster was drawn as a decoration to our class's mini-library. My teacher liked it so much that she placed this poster at the top. But I really don't really like it. Actually this poster was drawn very last minute and I didn't expect it to be my teacher's favourite!! =)

I didn't take much photos in Secondary school though... However I met two best friends when am in Secondary School... Basically I forgot every single Sec sch frens except the two... See "TRIO".

After secondary school, I went Temasek JC and was the "cat" during the TJC Rag day...

And I was part of Leo Club....

好怀念那种感觉啊！

正在看 Japan Hour... 让我想起在日本的日子了。。。　

那是多么好玩啊。。

就是那种吃喝玩乐，每天无忧无虑的，走到哪就玩到哪的那种喜悦感动和天天都有惊奇的新鲜感。是好一阵子在市区里都没能感受到的舒服。

可能是因为好久都没能有这种感觉了吧。

那时年纪比较小。好象看到什么听到什么都非常容易感到震撼和神奇。就连好普通好微不足道的东西或小镇都能让我很感动。。。

现在呢。。

没什么能让我提神的了。

我从何时已失去那种纯真感。怎么我完全不晓得呢？

就连我企图再回到同样的地方也不能找回以前的那种感觉了。

我真的老了。

Finally.. Went dentist le~~~

Finally.... I went to the Dentist le!!!

I was very surprised. I thought I had only skipped dental for abt 2 yrs. But when my record there showed that the last time I went was 2004!!!!

Wow zan! 4 years leh!!!

Sigh... I am such a lazy bum... Or rather.. I very scared of dental pain de lah... Got phobia de lor... Anyway, I went and of cos pain for abt 15mins and all was well...

Guess I really must go make my "bridge" on my lower teeth. My lower teeth are getting worse, with my teeth bones getting softer. The dentist said that I should have gotten my crowns 4 years back.. But at that time I no $$$ mah... Each tooth cost more than S$300 leh. I need to get 4 of them, so total about more than S$1.5K....

Yawn... Anyway, all is good....

I am a freak!!! a FACE freak!!!

I can't control myself when it comes to facial products... I will buy all sorts and all kinds and all range of products just to apply on my face... And I don't even care abt the prices attached... I will think twice to buy a dress.. But I won't batter an eye to buy a S$180 anti-pigmentation cream, or a S$35/pc face-or-eye mask lor...

Sigh... Am a sucker k?

Anyway, since i a bit free now, let me record all these down. so that next time when i old liao, with lots of pigmentation and lots of wrinkles, I can look back to see how much efforts I took to slow down those aging effects.. Hahaha... Hope my huge "investment" works!!!

Above is just a SNAPSHOT of what I have. I still have some more, but I too lazy to bring them out.. hahah... And my table too small lah, can't fit all in... So I only took those essential ones... =)

Anyway, let me explain...

First, of course must wash face right? Everytime I will wash my face with 3 face wash : Facewash milk (to remove makeup), then Facewash gel (to purify), then followed by Cyteal Facewash (to prevent acnes). And for 3 times a week, I will also use the "face scrub" and depending on the weather and my 心情, I will use either the "cool-scrub" or the "pore-minimiser scrub". If I got eye makeup (seldom lah, cos I got such BIG PRETTY eyes liao le!!! HAHAHAH!!!!), I will use the eye makeup remover...

Then after washing, I will put on my face masks every night....

I have MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY kinds of masks... Hahhaha!!! Come on! I put masks every night k! Of cos must have many many mah!!!

I have purity face mask, hydrating face mask, moisturising face mask, T-zone mask, a series of peel-off face masks, SS face masks, apply-on eye mask and floral eye mask. Every night I will put on TWO masks before I go sleep de leh!!! A bit 走火入魔了！

Then after face masks, I will then wash it off and do my usual facial care procedures...

First will be toner. Then eye gel (morning) or eye cream (night). Then followed by pore-minimiser (sometimes only lah), then moisturiser and followed by anti-pigmentation cream. I will also use the face-lifter for neck (can't use it for face cos I will get pimples!!!)

Well, thats abt it for my face le!!! 够多了吧！哈哈！

Then sometimes, about 3 or 4 times a week, I will put on some moisturisers, just for FUN!!! =)

I really cannot pass level 9 of Diners....

sigh... have been playing PSP for a few weeks liao.. I didn't have time to play it every day lah... but whenever i at home and resting, I will try to play to clear that level... eventually I still cannot clear it...

Anyway, I have given up and now playing another game called "7 wonders" which is easier to play!!! Haahhaa... I do not have patience to play difficult game de lah....

7 wonders is machiam like old-time "brick-game" like dat de... Very simple and brainless..


but think i will get bored with 7 wonders soon... hmmm.... better keep the PSP away lah, don wanna waste time on it...

Old photos... from the past...

Went back to Tampines home and realised that I had so much "rubbish" to clear!!!

Well, I have been living out on my own since 04 and of cos my personal belongings cum "rubbish" accumulated over time mah (it is over YEARS leh!!!)....

Anyway, while i was packing and sneezing away (dusty lah...), i uncovered many items which i thought were "lost" or "gone-case" many years back!!!! Items like old old clothes which I bought fr Japan in 2003, belts fr ancient 2002, even my old japanese textbooks which I used in 2001!!! And also not forgetting my photo album which kept old photos like those from Sec school, JC and some good memories of some overseas trips with my ex-bf...

I still remember my first overseas trip was to Bintan when I was 21. (hahah... Yah lah, I v country bum de.. Never been out of country before until then lor.. sigh...)

Still got those photos fr 1998!! I was still having super loads of BB fats though... But at that time I always thought I v chio de!!! Yahahaha!!! So damn funnaeee!!!!

Anyway, am not gng to throw those photos away lor... Altho my ex-bf was already married, and had a kid and now migrated to Shanghai, those were good memories of my youthful days and i am just glad to have those photos to remember... =)

Yawn.... super lazy and tired now....

A change in blog skin!

sigh....

finally I have hardened my heart to change my blog's skin... I have been using the old skin for more than 3 years le and it is really time for me to move on.

Sometimes i will think abt it and wondered if I made the right choice to destroy my old skin for a simple plain new one. Anyway, those photos are really very old liao lah and I think the more u look at them, the more u will feel sianz... right??!!

AHahhha! Anyway........

I will try to make some changes to this skin as it is really too plain and simple. But i really have no time and energy to do so right now lor...

next time bah!!!
