Wow! Didn't know Cathay is already 80 years old! So much older than SG leh!
Today, we were very honored to be invited to celebrate Cathay's 80 Anniversary party and to watch a new local production (produced by Cathay) movie. The movie was so nice and heart-warming! Starring all our local artistes! We saw familiar faces in the movie, it was nice!!! :)
If you are my era, you can probably spot a few HK actors and actresses! There were Raymond Wong (The Happy Ghost!), Eric Tsang, and a few faces. And of course, the tallest Ang Moh at the back is my CEO. Hahaha! Handsome de ne! :)
A happy Selfie with my team! :)
Happy Birthday Cathay! And many more years to come! :)

New York & Washington DC!
Yay! I am back! Yesh! After just a short 7 days trip, I am back to tiny sunny island! :)
I have more than a thousand over photos (OMG!) so I might take time to sort it out. Well, just in case I forget, I better pen down my trip experiences briefly!
Well, how do I start?
Day 1: New York Overview
Night tour started at 6pm. I was brought around downtown and took a cruise to see Statue of Liberty. I reached back to hotel at midnight! LOL! My first day was already that packed! :) This is a very good overview of New York Downtown.
Day 2: New York Ground-zero, Wall Street & Broadway
Early morning I checked out of hotel and checked into my friend's room. Then rushed to my Ground-zero tour and museum. Walked to Wall street and took the hop-on-hop-off bus back to Time square. Rushed to my 7pm Broadway show "The Lion King" and reached back hotel around midnight again! LOL! Another packed day!
Day 3: New York Uptown and TV live recording show.
I took the hop-on-hop-off bus for Uptown and meet Kitty at Columbus Circle for the late afternoon TV recording show. After the TV show, we have a quick dinner and I took a walk along Broadway.
Day 4: New York Shopping
Today is really a R&R day. We sleep late and went for brunch. Then we took a walk to the shopping street and visited Macy's. Thereafter, I took a walk along the shopping avenue and reached back hotel late in the evening to pack up for the next day's trip to Washington DC.
Day 5: Trip to Washington DC
We took a 4 hours Bolt bus to DC. Reached DC in the late afternoon and checked into the hotel. Didn't do much today as it was already late in the afternoon. So we only took a short walk to the nearest town and buy some groceries.
Day 6: Washington DC tour
To sad, it was raining today... This is my last day in Washington and yet it was raining. I booked the hop-on-hop-off bus and sadly, cos it was raining, I didn't manage to see many things. :(
Day 7: Trip back to New York for flight back to SG
Took a 4.5 hour Bolt bus trip back to NYC from DC. And after that, I continued the journey to JFK airport. Another 2 hours... Sigh... total 6.5 hours! Then I have to fly 22 hours back to SG! OMG!
Although it was a short 7-days trip, it was very fulfilling and packed to the max! :)

Caveau Bar.. Wine and laughters!
It is our gals catch-up dinner again! I am so glad we are meeting more frequent this year. Praise the Lord! :)
Gine loves our SAC campaign so I went to make one can for her. And of course, I gave her a lot more! LOL! She was so happy! Seeing her blissfully satisfied with the cans, I am happy too! :)
We were early... So we decided to take selfies while waiting for Qian Jie.
So funny. Both of us looked so Bimbos! There weren't many people inside the bar... So the waiters were all looking at us. Bimbos taking selfies! LOL! :p
We ordered some appetisers to go with the wine while waiting for Qian.
My fav truffle fries! But then... I don't like the dressing on top. I didn't know there will be dressings, should have ask them not to put the dressings on! And oh, the fries are really too oily! I guess cos this is a super high-class place and they need to charge super high for the food, they used lots of truffle oil to make it worth the price! But... Too much lah... Want to charge us high high also must see whether it is nice to eat mah. So oily leh. But that aside, the fries are very nice! Yummies!!! :)
The white baits are OK but too oily as well. The wine is good though! Expensive but good! Love it!!!
Qianjie came but she wasn't hungry as she went to JB for lunch just now. Wah! Drove all the way to JB just to eat lunch?!?! Really! LOL! Never came across my mind at all! My office is just doors away from JB but I have never once thought of driving in to eat. LOL!
Anyway, we didn't order much food since none of us want to eat too much. The ladies ordered the bite-size foe gras... I didn't eat this dish though. I'm not a big fan of foe gras... The smell is too strong. :(
Anyway the ladies said the dishes are nice.
After food, we ordered dessert. Honestly I think it tasted very nice! Cos it is simple one-scoop ice cream with 2 cookies. LOL! Expensive OK!
Started playing selfies after food... LOL!
One funny thing... We started talking about younger days... And I remembered our Science B float competition during our first year. I acted in the skit and I was the "Cat". It was the year of the Dog and the plot was that there were 4 evil cats creating havoc in heaven and the heavenly Dog came to capture us!
And... Gine was also one of the Cats! But... She said she was not! Huh?! I remembered very clearly de leh... But she firmly said that she was NOT the cat and that she was very clear that she was right.. And she even OK to bet with me! One free bottle of wine if one of us was wrong. Hahah!!!
Hmm... How come my memory is different from hers leh! I really remembered clearly de leh... It was me, Steph, Gine and Xiaofen acted as 4 evil cats and I still remembered Lennard's last few emo words to us before the competition. I was so sad as he was very disappointed with our performance. Thereafter, I told myself to really act well and when I have to "fall", I really fell hard! And I remembered Lennard praising me for my acting skills. I felt very happy then! I must ensure Science B win the float competition!
Haha! Those was good memories... :)
I have a wonderful night at a very nice bar! Thanks ladies for giving me another good memory!
PS: Gine went home and she texted me... She remembered she was really one of CATs! LOL! See? I was correct!!! Yay! I won a free bottle of wine from her! Swee!!! :)

Packing for New York!
Tomorrow I'm gonna fly to NY! Finally! After 2 years... I finally pushed myself to go NY.
And I bought a nice platforms to go NYC! I heard there's lots of walking and as it is Summer now, I don't think I can wear my walking boots!
Anyway I just booked my first broadway show: The Lion King! I haven't watch this show yet! Yay!
My itinerary is finalized...
When I reached, I will R&R. At 6pm I will go for my night tour and cruise.
The next day morning, I will join the 9-11 tour till afternoon. I guess I shall then take a walk around Wall street (or see if I know how to take the ferry to Liberty Park?). Then I will go back to Time square and wait for my 7pm Broadway show! YAY!!! Perfect plan! By then my fren should have already arrived with her daughter. :)
Finally I sold my bag and wallet!
Sold-ed my bags! I really didn't think that I could sell my bags cos who will buy old stuffs?
But now.... I really sort of regretted! Cos... I sold my bag and wallet within.... 10 minutes! WTF! Really?!?!? And so many people fighting for my bag and wallet! OMG!!! Cos I think I priced them TOO LOW! How I wish I can re-price them again! I'm too naive! First-timer on such resale site mah... LOL! Now I know... There are many such people waiting for buy old stuffs. I believe some of them might be to resale out on higher price.
A nice prada bag I sold for S$200. I bought it for S$600+ I think... And my LV wallet... I sold for .... S$50! This is free from my ex... So I don't know how much... I think I saw it previously at S$900+... LOL!
Anyway, a very suay thing happened to me. Sigh... On my way to sell my S$50 LV wallet, I dropped my iPhone and cracked my screen. Sigh... This is a new phone leh. Sigh...
I'm just so clumsy de... :(

Moron me...
Hokay.... Finally.... I should have just made up my mind.. .I always boast that I can just drop and go ANYWHERE I want. But real life, I do think a lot man!
Sigh... If I had decided and booked a few days earlier, I would have gotten the flight to NY reaching 20 Jun. But cos I hesitated for a few days (wishy washy minie molie...) that all flights are FULL. I am left with the last choice to fly Sunday night and reach NY on 22 June, Monday morning.
Which MORON will book such a flight?
ME.
(long sigh...................)
All to blame is my indecisiveness... If only I have just booked it a few days ago... If only I have just do it... If only....
Anyway, this is when I knew that I should just JUMP. So, I did. I became the moron to book that stupid flight to NY and for just 4 days in NY and 2 days Washington, I booked another silly flight on Sunday night to reach back SG on 30 June. So in short, I will spend more than 48 hours in the air for just 6 days of tour.
Sounds fun huh? LOL....
MORON me... I guess I can get use to this name. :p
Anyway this is a good lesson to teach me to be decisive and dare to JUMP at the moment. Just a few hours will make a big difference.
Okay okay... I shall book whatever I want now.
And I booked the Oct Boracay trip immediately! LOL!
Good job! :)

Jurassic World - the Movie! :)
Yesh! Once again....... I have FREE TICKET to Jurassic World, the new movie! I got to watch it 2 days before the whole Singapore... Envy me bah... Hahaha! :p
It was a typical Jurassic-kinda movie lah... Dinosaurs chase people, eat people, people running around screaming, boy is hero, gal likes boy and they KISSED... LOL! Predictable!
Oh well, the good part is that the lead guy is hot and the gal is rather... so-so,,, LOL!
Of course the dinosaurs were bigger and more alive than before! It's definitely worth watching... :)
Thanks Aunty Jas!!!

Dinner and movie treat from my Sis! :)
Yeah! My sis wants to bring us out for dinner and MOVIE! Yes, she said wanna go movie!
So strange! Cos actually.... We realized we have NEVER been to a movie together before leh... Hahaha! Strange de hor! LOL! Anyway cos our parents are not movie bums, so they seldom bring us to movie too lor. So we didn't have this habit lor.
Anyway, it was my bro's birthday. So my sis decided to buy us dinner and throw in a movie treat! :)
She chose Crystal Jade in Suntec cos we know our mum only like Chinese food de.. We have been to Paradise Inn too many times so she wanted to try something different. The food was great, but.....
Too expensive!! The portion was too small and the price was too high! It was so OMG de expensive lor! But oh well.. My sis got money bah.. Hahahah! :p
We ordered about 6 dishes and I guess the price might be over S$150! Haha!
After dinner, we took a slow walk to wait for movie time. Finally we can go into the movie hall! Yeah!
And............ Guess the movie???
It was a HORROR movie! OMG! My niece lah.. She wanted to watch this horror movie cos she said it seemed quite good. LOL! Actually I have stopped going for horror movies, but since it was my sis's treat and we have no other movies in mind, we decided to go for this!
Happy to see our Popcorn box activation! Nice!!! :)
Anyway, it was a great night out! Thanks Sis!!! :)

Musical! Once again, complimentary from Jas! :)
Yesh! I simply so love hanging out with the ladies! Especially we have free tickets to watch musicals! This time round (similar to the one we went last year: Click here), it was a production by Adrian Pang's production: Pangdemonium.
As I finished my meeting early, I drove to Bugis Junction to meet the ladies. And hor... There was a Ferrari in front of me! This car was making so bloody loud engine noise! And the funny thing is... I think the driver might not be very familiar with the car or perhaps he is just a driver for the owner.
Anyway, the driver was lousy and the Ferrari stalled and stopped for a few times, having difficulty working. And when turning into the carpark, it rammed up the curb due to bad turning. LOL! Damn funny to be at the back of this car and witnessing all these embarrassing moments.
Anyway... Back to the musical...
It was quite disappointing lor... Sigh.. At first I was looking forward to it cos... Well, it's Adrian Pang leh... He is quite talented and the show last year (Rise and Fall of Little Voices) was very nice! I still remembered it very well... So I was looking forward to another great production.
And also, I learned Sign Language before and I was in love with this language. It makes full use of facial expressions and movements and I find it fascinating!
Anyway, the production was too boring. Too much words and not very engaging. Too lengthy on certain topics... And I don't really like the part where they were making fun of deaf people. I find it rather disturbing. :(
So we left during the interval break! LOL!
We decided that going for a drink seems like a better idea than sitting through the show. Hahaha! So we walked across the street to Tess Bar (I went with Wei Yong before) and settled for some cocktails.
Funny thing is... The kind waitress was trying to recommend us their house specialty cocktail. Think the name was something like "Tess cocktail"... How creative!! LOL...
But... It was horrible!!! The glass looked weird, with that green thingie sticking out and a clip on a flower... So duh and orbiang... And worse still... Jas took a sip and she immediately yuck it out! OMG! So bad meh? She said it is bitter... Sure or not?! Oh ... I remembered the waitress said there was Campari inside! Hahaha! It is basically cough syrup! Hahaha! I took a sip, found it ok only but not tasty... The taste a bit weird leh... Seems like the bartender is trying to clear all Vermouth and Campari stocks!!!
Anyway the waitress was very kind... We told her we did not like the drink and she said she can change for us! Wow!! That was nice! So we decided to choose something safer. The waitress reco me to try this cocktail called "XOXO" and it has whiskey and coconut, I think... OK lah.. Sound ok.
Well, I wouldn't say it is super nice... The taste is OK OK... But I think it was over-priced! This cost S$21 before tax and svc charge lor!
Jas also ordered a new drink.. But I cannot remember the name or the concoction... LOL! She said it's called "Whiskey Smash" or something like that.. But for sure I know there's whiskey inside! Quite strong de neh!
And Betsy, the guru, of course will go for her safe drink, which is Gin Tonic. And this is one expensive gin tonic man! This is more expensive that our cocktails! LOL! High class taste lor! :p
Anyway we had a good time hanging out. Although the musical wasn't as nice as we would expect, it was still a good night out!
After the drink, both Jas and I went for massage (again!) and this time round, the therapist was much better than the previous one, but still not as good as the one that I went (Shen Nong). But I am glad to have a Kaki to go massage with! Life is not so boring afterall!
It doesn't suck to be me!!! :)

The only 1-day PH in June... and Brunch with Besties!
It was Public holiday!!! Yayayayayahhhh!!!
In the morning, we went to pay respect and visit my Dad's "condo" at All Saint Home memorial hall. So fast hor.. He was gone for 2 years liao... As usual, after the visit, we will go Xin Wang for Asian breakfast! Carbs overloaded! But I like it! :p
Anyways... I have just started my roadshow at RWS. So I decided to pop down to take a look.. And my nice BFF Ah Bee offered to be my driver! Yesh! How lucky!
OMG... The weather was super harsh and crazy! It was hot de lor!!! I nearly died just stepping out of my aircon-ed room! I wasn't exaggerating hor! :( Sigh...
Anyway we reached RWS and took a photo with the pretty booth! :)
Bought 10 Bottles!!! OMG! lucky I have ah bee to help me carry... :)
Anyway... We just wanted to get out of there! Cos it was too freaking HOT!!! Even the word HOT couldn't really describe our hotness... Hahahaha!
Anyway, LS suggested brunch at Spruce.. I don't mind cos I've been there before anyway. I just need aircon!! Give me AIRCON!!!
Spruce is nice and quiet and we had a good chat...
My mojito! Yummies!!!
It was a lazy (and HOT) one-day public holiday... Yawn... Need to go work the next day...
SIANZ.... :(

Betsy's big 4!!!
Time flies! So fast and it is.... Betsy's BIG 4 celebration! It seems like yesterday that Betsy joined the same team as me in my previous company 10 years ago. And since then, we have been BFF for 10 years!! Wow!!! Fated to meet!
Anyway, she has a S$100 vouchers from Jumbo and so we went to Dempsey outlet to cele her birthday. We ordered the usual dishes : Tofu, fried fritters, Chilli crabs/buns and Mee Goreng for us to share. The noodles was so-so actually. The tofu and fritters were not bad though. I don't eat crabs, so I ate the buns and the crab-meat gravy. Yummy!!
Well, actually the dinner was nice, but the table allocated to us was not good! It was a Friday and so the place was packed. Betsy did make a booking about 2 weeks ago, but apparently it was so full that they placed us at a table outside. And you know, the weather recently was horribly HOT and Humid! So the 3 of us were perspiring and feeling very humid and warm. Which was why I couldn't really eat well nor drink a lot. What a waste!
Anyway, Jas booked massage for all of us! Looking forward! Think this is gonna be our usual routine: Dinner, drinks and Massage! I'm loving it!!! :)
Betsy asked if we could accompany her to a nice Whiskey bar after the meal, since we have no mood to continue sitting at the table cos too warm... I don't mind.... I need AIRCON!!!
So we went and pop by a nice bar called Jiu Zhuang. It was so pretty! Nicely decorated and good ambiance for a nice evening to chill. But unfortunately, both Jas and I were not really good whiskey drinkers lah.. So we didn't drink much. I can't even finish a pack of neat! LOL! I just want to enjoy the aircon... Hahahah! :p
We did a wefie and it was funny!
I looked like a "ghost" behind them!!! LOL! So funny!!!
Anyways, we went for massage and had a great time!
Happy Birthday Aunty Betsy! Have a great BIG 4! LOL! :p
Birthday drink with my Sec-school classmate! We knew each other for 23 years!
OMG! Counted the years and realized we knew each other for 23 years! KH was my Sec 3 classmates and we were quite good when we were in class. He was prefect and I remembered he told me that my hair was too long and I might need to tie up my hair. LOL! Funny! :p
It was his birthday and since I was off work on time, we decided to meet to catch up for a beer.
Happy Birthday KH!
