Ladies Street

After our Happy hours at LKF (See previous post) , we took the MTR and reached Mongkok station to tour the Ladies Street...

Although both of us were super tired, we thought that since Ladies Street and Temple Street were just vicinity to our hotel, we might as well complete this tour by walking through these streets...

Well, no trip to HK is complete without a visit to the famous dessert shop "Xu Liu Shan"!

We didn't stay long at Ladies street as there were alot of people and we were both tired... My deardear managed to buy some very nice T-shirts! Very reasonable priced. 3 Tees for HKD140, which amounted to about less than $10 per Tee...

Want to know what Tees he bought? Hahahahah!!!

Well.... He wore his newly-bought Tee to Macau on the 3rd day and another new Tee for the last day!

Please read on!

Temple Street at Hong Kong

After having our desserts at "Xu Liu Shan" at Ladies Street, we made our way to Temple Street, which was just a few streets besides Ladies street....

Temple street was famous for those small push-cart stalls and "da pai dang", which sell local delights.

Of course, we couldn't miss those nice local delights at Temple street!! We ordered some dim-sums at one of the roadside stalls and we really enjoyed the treat!!!

And that ended our 2nd day...

It was an eventful day and I think we were too ambitious to complete too many locations at one go... Thus, by the end of this day, both of us were super tired... My feet were bascially "paralyse" by then!!!!

Oh my god... Still got another 2 days to go!!!!

LKF again...

On our 3rd day, we headed to LKF again after returning from Macau (See previous entry, click here!!!)...

WOW!!! See the difference??? It was Friday, thus the crowd kicked in and the whole street was filled with people!!!

So different from Thursday... So crowded!!!

We were tired by then and guess what??? We ate at KFC!!!

And that ended our 3rd day and by then, we WERE SUPER TIRED!!!

My Dear dearz BD!!!

It was once again my dear dearz BD!!! And his few good buddies arranged a dinner session at this place called "Koon Kee"... (Sounded like the hokkien for "just woke up" hor.. Hahahhaah!!! )

Anyway, they knew the boss's son named Ah Hai... They served Thai-Chinese food there and altogether, we had 8 of us, excluding Media's maid and BB Chavela...

It was a 7-course style dinner and we had fish, duck with sea cucumber, veges, chicken with wine, "donno-wat" soup, longevity mee-suah, and cold plate. Very filling indeed!! And with the wines....We brought 1 super-sized red wine and one white wine, and Michael brought 3 bottles of white wines... So total we had 4 whites and 1 red... All of us were so stuffed with food and wine!!

The came the birthday cake, boght from Secret Recipe leh!!! Mai play play hor!!! Yahahahhaha!!!! But by then most of us could not eat anymore lah....

Make me feel like being in University again.. Cos this are the things we do when we were in University, like celebrating friends' birthdays, having dinners together and having drinks and talking rubbish....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR DEARZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!

Anyway... My dear dearz was wishing hard... He seemed to be wishing a bit TOO HARD hor!! Maybe he is asking some numbers for this week's 4D??!!!

Hahahah!!! While my deardearz was making his 4D wish, Francis took this picture and I just realised that Ah Hai was behind him!! Yahaha!! He is the owner's son lor...

As usual... Blowing candles...

And he make a very funny face when cutting the cake!!! So FUNNY!!!!

Need to get so happy meh???!!!

As expected lah, my deardearz where got know how to cut cake... In the end, Media helped us to cut the cake....

This cake was nice!!! Everyone liked it a lot.. Even though we were very full, but we still managed to eat some of the cakes....

See Chavela? She loved the cake!!! So Cute!!!

Asked Sean to pose for a photo... And he did this............ So FUNNY!!!

Some candid shots...while Media was cutting the cake....

Wonder what's so funny there???!!!

Anyway, it was photo-taking spree after the cake and food and wines....

This is Chavela and dear dear....

Don and Francis....

Sean and Media and their daughter, Chavela....

Michael and his wife, Hoon....

Media and Chavela....

And of cos, me and dear dear lor....

See how red my dear dearz's face was??! We drank all 4 bottles of white wines and left one super-sized red wine...

When we tried the red wine, my dear dear realised that this wine was spoilt... So, in the end, we did not drink that red wine at all... Wat a waste!!!

Well, it was a good dinner, a good drink and of course, good company!!!

Hong Kong Trip ~ The Avenue of Stars

It was 430am when we reached Changi Airport. Our flight is 640am to Hong Kong... So, we were super early man!!!

See, I was so tired that I had to steal some sleep at the airport...

Aiyoh... Look like dead person like dat!!!!

Actually I was faking sleep lah! Yhahahaha!!! We were tired but couldn't get to sleep cos very excited about our trip... As this is the first time my dear dear was going to HK, he was definitely looking forward to it....

Finally......... We reached HK liao wor!!!!!

While we were waiting for other tourists to gather for the transfer to hotel, I took some pictures of this airport...

No big deal lah... Look like.......... Normal airport lor.... Heeheheheee!!!

My bf was so tired that he sat on the luggage!!!!! Yahahhaha!!! Wait til Sean see this! He will be hopping mad!!! (The luggage belonged to Sean, by the way...)

Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our hotel room was pathetic!!!

It was SUPER SMALL!!! Yhahahaha.... Basically, there's only room for a small bed, a small TV, and a small bathroom... There was no free space there! There's barely any room for 2 persons and we bumped onto each other a few times when we were in the room...

Anyway... Can't complain much lah... This was a good package deal mah... So mai hiam buay pai lah....

By the way, we stayed at Dorsett Seaview Hotel situated at the Yau Ma Tei area. This was a good district as Temple street was just the next street from our hotel.

First of all, after dumping our luggage in the room, we had to get out of the room as the room offered no comfort to us at all. We rather braved the sunlight outside the street....

We decided to take a walk to Satr ferry. Since my bf had not been to HK before, I had to bring him to the usual touristy places....

We reached The Avenue of Stars.... Aka, Xing Guang Da Dao"....

See see!!!!!!! That's Jackie Chan wor!!!!

And Andy Lau too!!!

Er.... Actually want him to strike a pose similar to Bruce Lee, but he was too shy to do so.. Yahahhaahah!!!!

It was once in a lifetime experience to be a Director!!!

Actually he was just plain tired and want to sit and rest!!!!! Chay!!!!!

I was also tired by then... The sun was terrible!! It was so damned scorching hot that my other pictures didn't turn out good... Our faces were either too dark or we were squinting our eyes against the glaring sun...

Anyway, enjoy some of the photos that we took at Victoria harbour...

Too dark, right? That's because the sun was against us... Sigh....

I was squinting my eyes! Cos the sun too glaring liao! Sigh.......Sigh....

Caught sight of some speedboats.... Might be petrol boats maybe...

That was Hong Kong Island!!

This photo we took ourselves! Nice sia!!!

Enough of Victoria habour!

We were now venturing our way to my favourite Star Ferry and on our way to Wan Chai for our HAPPY HOURS!!
