Taipei ~~ 4th day

YOOHOO!!!

It was our 4th day already!! 2 more days to CNY!!!

Anyway, today is our first day without Leo (the tour-guide). We were given a free 1-day MRT pass and we decided to only use this pass tomorrow... Not today...

Today shall be a super relaxed one.... We shall roam around the Taipei Shi-Zheng-fu, Taipei 101 and also to visit the famous city "Zhong xiao lu". And also, we shall embark on the journey to look for Jay Chou's fashion shop at Zhong Xiao Dong Lu! This was a request from my best friend, Lilian, who was a die-hard fan of Jay Chou lor... Sigh....

Well, we slept till late (literally LATE lor.. Think we woke up abt 11am???) and we made our way to the MRT to go to visit Cheng-pin Bookstore (or called the Elite Bookstore), which was the biggest book chain in Taiwan.. Well, it was no big deal lah.. I prefer Japan bookstore though...
Anyway, after the Elite bookstore, we made our way to Taipei Shi-Zheng-fu....

The weather was still gloomy and drizzling... But we were so used to it le lah....

After that, we made our way to Taipei 101 and NewYork NewYork, which is a shopping mall besides the 101...
The sky was foggy and gloomy, thus we did not want to waste our money going up to the tower... It's ok de lah... We just took more photo of it lor!!!

And...

Of cos, it was LUNCH Time!!! We were too tired to look for restaurants.. So we settled for the food court just below the 101 building...

And I was sooo hungry that I forgot to take photo of my Omu-rice and before I knew it, I had finished more than 80%!!!

Hahahah!!!

Ok, after our lunch, we moved on and lazed around town... We took the MRT to Zhong Xiao Dong Lu and went shopping at Sogo... But both of us were quite tired and sian on shopping... So we decided to go search for Jay Chou's Omni Shop!

It took us more than 45mins to get to the correct street and as it was drizzling, it made the whole search process more difficult... By the time we found it, we were so surprised to see that this shop was soooo small and not very outstanding. It was housed at a very ulu street and there was no one at all!!! Maybe it was the festive season and raining, so there were not many customers around... We actually walked past this shop 2 times!!! Hahahaha!!!
Anyway, I took a walk in and was very disappointed. The clothes were super expensive and the racks were very little. The clothes were not that fantastic either and the store gal was not friendly. She totally ignored me!!! Sigh....
Ok, so we moved on...

There were a few streets that we walked but since it was raining, I did not take any photos...
Well, both of us were very wet and cold by now... So we decided to do DINNER!!!
There was an underground shopping street and there were a few cafes... We settled for a nice small cafe, serving cakes, drinks and some hot food.
i ordered their promotion set, which is a cake plus drink. And he ordered his rice...

I gobbled up the cake before taking the photo!!! Greedy as usual lah.... ARRGGGGGHHH!!!!
hmmmm... Looked good!!!

Anyway, while we were having our small simple dinner, we kept beowing the other shop just opposite us. It was "Ba-fang-Yun-Ji", which is a dumpling chain. See the queue outside the store? Actually altho we were at the cafe, our mind and heart is at that dumpling shop!!! We were waiting for the right moment to crash into the store to eat my favourite Guo-Tie!!!
And YES!! We finally waited until there was an empty seat at the store and we quickly finished up our dinner at the cafe and rushed over to Bah-fang-yun-ji.
We had to fill up our own order and placed it at the cashier!
Quickly, we ordered my Guo-tie and the normal dumpling...

OMG!! It was DELICIOUS lor!!!

Super full le....

We finally made our way back to hotel... Caught a glimpse of Taipei101 at night...

Still very gloomy though... Yawn...
Anyway, as usual, before reaching hotel, we always will make a trip to the convenient-store to buy some snacks!
And since we had early dinner, we decided to buy Choco snacks and cup noodle for supper!!!

The noodle was a bit salty though... But ok lah....

And not forgeting my Must-have COFFEE!!!!
Yawn..... So, we had an early ending to our 4th day in Taipei... We spent the rest of the night glued to the TV, watching those funny hilarious Taiwan variety shows... Super nice de lor!!!
=)
