Nicholas Concert in Singapore

We got free tickets to watch Nicholas LIVE in Singapore!

Yar lor.. It's free de! If not, I don't think I would want to spend money to go to this concert de lor... It's not becos Nicholas is not good. Honestly, I really love his voice and some of his songs. But still, this is not enough to motivate me to spend S$158 for a ticket lor....

Anyway, I got the free ticket and of cos, I invited my good fren, Lilian along. Becos she kept nagging that she missed the period of buying good seats to watch Nicholas. Well, I didn't know she's a fan of Nicholas de lor!!!

Before the concert, both of us waiting and thus decided to take some photos!!! Hahah!!

Finally, after a delay of 20mins, the concert started!!! Nicholas's voice is nice but he really cannot dance de!!! I was laughing so much when he started with a weird dance!
Anyway, the photos turned out quite badly becos the lightings were too strong... So I decided to take photo of the screen!!! At least he looked better!!!

The guest of honour is Faye, from FIR. We were expecting her to sing us more than a song. BUT.......... She really left the concert after just singing ONE song de lor!! It was so unexpected!!! So strange of her to fly to Singapore for this concert and just TO SING ONE SONG????!!!!

Anyway, I decided not to take any more photos le. Cos the photos all didn't turn out well....

(Saw a small gal sitting in front of us and playing with the luminating tube... She probably didn't know who's the guy that was singing on stage as she was very engrossed in playing with her toy! Hahahah!!!)

Harlem Concert in Singapore

Yup, I got free tickets to Harlem concert in Singapore!

Well, I am not a big fan of Harlem lah... But I know who he is and his music and songs were also not bad de... Anyway, this is my first concert as I am not someone who like to go concerts de...

We reached Singapore Indoor Stadium very early.. Erm, actually not early... We were ON TIME. But then, I learned something.

Concerts NEVER START ON TIME. Only Theatre plays will start on time.

Anyway, the concert started abt 30min late....

The photos did not turn out well... Sigh.... The lightings were too strong le!!





Overall, the concert was good, just that the audiences were too "quiet" and not "high" enough...

Kermit ~~ LASIK aftermath

I was supposed to be like this TOO!!!

I WAS really supposed to do LASIK today too!!! REALLY!!!!

But then.... sigh.....

My eyes got swollen abt a week ago and thus I backed out of this operations.... But Kermit bravely moved ahead and did the LASIK today!

I was afraid that she will be too tired to take cab home, so I took a few hours off and waited for her at the eye clinic at abt 530pm... Her ops was delayed and thus I waited for about 1.5 hours plus... And I actually dozed off at the waiting area!!! So malu!!! Hahahahah!!!

Then at about 7pm, Kermit came out with the "ULTRA-MAN" lookalike thing over her eyes!


According to her, the whole ops was very successful, just that her right eye was more bruised and swollen than her left eye.


She got a splitting headache, so we quickly da-bao fried rice for her and sent her home immediately....

And as of Monday, she sms-ed me and said that she was recovering very well! Altho the right eye still a bit swollen, she was actually going to work on Tues!!! WOWOWO!!!

I am going to DO IT in August!!! Wait and SEE!!!

Summary of Taipei Trip...

Well, I had just finished posting my Taipei trip on this blog!!!


YEAH!

Ok, let me organised it for easy reference.....

Day 1: Tao-yuan Airport, Xi-men-ding
Day 2: Yeh-liu, Jiu-fen, Martyl Shrine, Wu-fen-Pu, Raohe night market and Shilin Night market
Day 3: Fisherman Wharf, Danshui and Onzen at Yangming Shan
Day 4: Taipei 101, NewYork NewYork, Zhong xiao Lu
Day 5: Zoo, SOGO, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Xin dian, and CJ7 movie!
Day 6: Ma-La Hot pot with Julia, "Kungfu-Dunk" movie, Longshan Si and Hwan-si Tourist Night market
Day 7: Xing-tian Temple, SOGO
Day 8: Nothing much... Just from Hotel to Tao-yuan Airport...

As you can see.... Our trip is like nothing much cos it was during CNY period, and the weather was terrible: Raining, gloomy and cloudy and cold...

But it was a good resting trip for me.... =)

MaryJanice Davidson

I was hooked....

Am absolutely hooked to MaryJanice Davidson's novels!!! Visit her official website here at http://www.maryjanicedavidson.net!!!

It all started when I was at the library, looking for some novels that shld not be "too thick" (cos it would be too heavy for me to carry to work everyday) and the wordings shld not be too big or too small...

So 3 books caught my eyes. All were MJD (short for MaryJanice Davidson lah...) novels. And interestingly, the novels were part of a series. The novel series was abt a lady who was turned "Vampire" and become the : Undead.

Ya, u heard it right.. but it's not truly just a vampire story?

The story was hilarious and the characters were all so funny!!!

So, I read the first of the series... Then, surprised that I had actually rushed to finish the book within a day, begun to read the 2nd book, then the 3rd one! These were all fantastic novels! I had a good laugh every time I read the book and had to stop myself from laughing out loud when I read the novel in the train.

Then, after tat i found myself going to library to search for the rest of the series and were frustrated when I did not manage to get some.

Now I had almost finished reading abt 5 of the books, and also include reading 2 more ofMJD's other series (Not the Vampire one, this series is on Mermaids!!) Isn't she fantastic????

She wrote abt Vampire, and now, she also excel in writing bat Mermaids!!! WOWOWO!!!

Am in love with her.... I mean her books lah!!!

Hahahha!!!!

Taipei ~~ Last day le!!

Ok, this is our last day in Taipei le...

It was actually quite wasted cos most of the time we were in the hotel room nuah and not going out.. And also becos Clement's leg got so pain during the past 2 days that basically we can't go anywhere far....

Anyway, today is the last day and we need to check out by 2pm... The transportation to transfer us to the airport would only come at 3pm, so we still got lots of time left.... We checked out the lunch at the hotel and when we were told that we need to pay extra to eat, we decided not to eat there. I went out to the nearest 7-11 and bought some bread....

Oh did I mention that we bought a few Taiwanese local magazines for Clement's niece and of cos the one with Jay Chou would be for Lilian?

While waiting at the lobby... We were so bored that we took the magazine and read it...

And also, there's another reason why we LOVED 7-11.... Hahahha!!! There was a promotion during this period, whereby every spent of NT$77 will get us one Doraemon sticker. A total of 10 Doraemon stickers will allow us to redeem for one toy!

So of cos, being silly consumers, I aimed to collect all 10 stickers just to get that toy!!!
And TADAH!!!!
We made it!!!! Hahahahah!!!!

Anyway, we finally made our way to Taoyuan Airport and guess what??? We thought that our trip will be quite a normal and nothing-much-to-see one... But then.....

At the Airport, while we were checking into the flight, the counter lady noticed that he could not move well and asked if he needed wheelchair....

WHEELCHAIR?????!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!

WOWOWOWOWO!!!!

Exciting wor!!!

We were quite hesitant on this though...

But in the end, hack-care lah! JUST DO IT!!!!

See? They really gave us a wheelchair!! I thought I would be the pai-mia one to wheel him while he relax!!

But no lor!! HENG AH!!! There's a guy to help me wheel him through the custom!!! =)

The guy left us near the gate and told us that he will come back abt 30min during boarding time to wheel him to the airplane... So shiok, right??!!!

He looked just like the signage!!! YAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Anyway, while we were waiting for the plane, we got hungry and since we have some more NT dollars left, we decided to have our last lunch at Taoyuan Airport!

I ordered my favourite Curry rice and I helped him ordered his normal seafood rice...

Then after lunch, I saw my favourite Bubble-TEA!!! And since we have left just a small amount of NT coins, might as well finished the coins! Hahahah!!!

Well.... That's all....

After a while, in a flash, we found ourselves in the plane back home le...

Yawn... 8 days in Taipei passed in a flash, and most photos are on FOOD!!! Hahaha!!!
